Insurance system is dumb. I can't enjoy my Entity due to it.

I -never- bring my Entity out in free roam, because of the insurance costs.

 

But tonight, I felt like doing it. I brought my entity out, and within 5 minutes, someone was chasing me around trying to fight me. So I did, I fought him, killed him twice, and drove away. He chased me, I stopped, and fought him again. Only this time, he suicide bombed both of our cars into each other with a Sticky bomb and killed me and himself, and destroyed both of our vehicles.

 

Now, I figured.. ok, it clearly showed "X player blew you up".. so no problem. I'll just call my insurance, get my car back, and he had to pay 10k for doing that.


Except..... $9,993 or whatever fee showed up. I HAD TO PAY THE FEE! He blew me up, yet I have to pay 10 freaking thousand dollars to get my car back? That's an entire mission's payout.

 

 

I really don't understand this Insurance system. Even if someone is broke, it should put them in the negative, like $-8,394 dollars.

How often do you see a supercar tooling down the street IRL? Or parked in the employee lot? Not often, and for a reason - they're too damned expensive to fix if they get hit by some idiot.

 

No, they come out for very special occasions, like shows and races, and they are treated with care every step of the way.

 

So it is in Los Santos. My beloved Cheetah sees the sun during races and missions - and Closed Friend Only sessions. Beyond that, I'm more than fine to just gaze upon her as I roll thru my garage. Haven't had her riddled with bullets from some hater yet.

This is why insurance IRL costs so much, f*ck you broke c*nts in GTAV Online!

Might as well be considered Trolling and Griefing.

 

Intentionally spend all of your money down to under 8k, and then blow up a few Super cars but stop before you get Bad Sport. Wait a day until you can do it again so you don't get Bad sport.

 

In the meantime, a trail of victims with gigantic Insurance bills.

 

People complained about medical bills being 2k..... how about a 10k insurance bill. f*ck.

If another player blows you up with a sticky bomb while'st they are in a car (could be on foot too), you will have to pay the fee.

Just another flaw R* hasn't fixed.

Got stickied twice last night, first time they paid full price. Second just after mission ended, they paid 2500 and I got the rest. They definitely had the money on hand as well. Both from the car.

dude, i agree with the insurance system, if it works correctly. if some prick blows your car up he should pay to replace it, yup sign me up to that one, peach idea...

 

however when your chased across the map by some fanny who's already in the cheaters pool so we can assume he has about $100mil, then repeatedly shot in the back of the head while trying to compete missions, i end up getting fed up and my first and only act of retaliation is to lob a grenade in the pricks general direction, accidentally blowing up his sh*tty collectors edition roadster thing and i have to pay £18k to fix his car?? F*CK YOU R* if he kills me, him and his piece of sh*t car should be fair game.

 

this game is good but at the same time sh*t now after the nerfed payouts, unless i want to spam races, everytime i play i finish the session with less money than i started, the missions are now not worth the cost of the ammo/armor to do them, especially if you fancy a piss about on your own. and oh yeah 18 f*cking grand! for a cheats car. nice...

i have the stinger GT and i have paid $10890 i think it is for my insurance... i dont care... like you say its only ONE MISSION! do more missions you birk!

 

 

Why would you let it stop you from enjoying driving the expensive car you brought?

Blowing up someones car when having no money should either put you in negative numbers or give you double bad sports points.

If you can't afford the insurance also, the car automatically will respawn in the garage, there really isn't anything to fear other than you are f*cking poor. That is the only problem i see, lol.

If you have a problem paying for the insurance on that vehicle, take a different vehicle. You cannot control the actions of 15 other random people. so if you're so against your car being blown up, you need to take a different ride or play in invite only.

No, I am not against my car being blown up. I don't care if it gets blown up.

 

I am against having to pay for the Insurance when another player blows it up.

Out of curiosity, do you have to put up with the GTA dollars basically being american dollars? Or do they actually appear as £ for you?
