All of the 12 year olds who are used to pointless and linear "cash cow" games such as COD are now switching over to GTA Online and ruining it for the rest of us by "trolling" and whining over their mics whenever they cant have things their way. What games did you play as a kid? When I was 12 years old, I was playing Vice City, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Golden Eye, and Metal Gear Solid 2. Hell, when I was younger I was playing Mortal Kombat. If those games had online, I would play them as well. I knew that those games weren't for my age, but I still enjoyed them. This isn't because of no COD generation. It always been this way. I'll bet YOU will be that annoying kid that you're complaining about if you played those games and turn back the clock. Face it you guys, games will be played by kids. Virtually playing for nothing. Eventually the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be just as the Atari, Colleco or something. Glad I'm not a dad yet. I got stuck in bad sport lobbies to day as well and was shocked as to the cool dudes I ran into for the most part. Only ran into a few dbags but they didn't last long. In Bahrain, normal people don't give a f*ck about the damn game rating and no, no one get effected by video games unlike in your country, where is a 9 year old kills his grandma with a pistol after playing gta iv. It's not just children that make up the obnoxious, screaming, chimp-like group of people who mess around and generally just be a pain in the ass online, ruining other people's fun. This will never change. Children (people less than 16 years old, IMHO) can be more mature than there age, and act more mature than many adults three times their age, but they probably make up 80% of the "obnoxious crowd" online. 2.) THE SOLUTION. Play with people you know - I'm not talking about your brother-in-law, I mean people you meet online - say you play a couple matches and you notice that someone is cool, uses his mic responsibly, lacks mental illness, and is a team player with some talent. You add them. Slowly you accumulate these people until you rarely play unless it's with one of your gaming buddies. Slowly you will accumulate a badass crew, who all use mics, who all are trained in the fine arts of team tactics, and who are of the Aryan race. But sooner or later, they would find a work around to bypass the system given the holes in console security. And especially with PS3. Or an adult in the household does it for them >,< Gamers have already found ways to hack the game and PK ppl from places like underwater in the ocean with no scuba gear.
