Thinking of making another character.

Hey, I was just thinking I might make another character in another slot, but I was just wondering if it was worth it? Could I lose my current character that is in another slot? Need some experienced advice or info. Cheers!

Others have told me they lost their garage on their 1st slot when they played the 2nd slot?

 

Don't know if that was fixed in 1.04 but, just bear that in mind.

I haven't had a problem yet personally. I have 2 10-car garages between the 2 characters with no issues going back and forth (knock on wood )

my current character is in the 2nd slot after first slot went awol. But dont create a 2nd character as according to the bugs/glitches thread this will give you an unfair advantage due to the fact of you are same level as a low character but have more money.

You are taking advantage of an error in the programming to benefit yourself and gain an advantage over other players. This gives you the following benefits in a situation where both players are the same level:

• Can afford better cars
• Can afford better mods for cars and guns
• Can (in the future) invest more money in stocks
• Afford helicopters and other vehicles to better complete missions.

lol you can't even buy most of the car and gun mods at low level anyway.

 

So what's the point in implementing a second character slot if you're not "allowed" to use it?

That's not a bug, man. All your characters are suppossed to share the same bank account. The game tells you that during loading screens.

 

@OP, I don't think the problem is switching between characters. What makes your cars disappear is juast creating a character. I guess after that you won't have any problems.

Although, I cannot confirm that the switching can screw you up or not, but creating a character deletes your cars is 100% real, because it happened to me twice already.

Or maybe it is like the character deletion: some suffer from it, others, like myself, never encountered such issue.

 

I just hope they patch this soon, because there's no way I'm loosing all my motorcycles just to attempt to create Claude Speed.

I have had 2 characters from the beginning without a single problem.

2 characters in different slots is no problem. My "main" is slot 2, since I lost her uglier sister in slot 1. I have since replaced slot 1, because she was low level anyway.

 

As long as you don`t replace missing chars, one in each slot should be no problem.

i was wondering if id loose my main if id make another and i havent had any problems you do get same bank so you can buy stuff instant. you need lvl 5 to buy a garage and there is no lvl req on buying cars only heli and tank if you get badsport on one it affects both tho
