Kicking Players

It's stupid. You get something like 3-4 votes and you get kicked. One group of friends can just troll an entire room and kick people.

 

Make it 50% of players in the room, and put a notification on screen "So and so has been voted for kicking"

when someone initiates a kick, you get a warning....

The chances of that happening are slim to none, though...at least from what I've seen. In all my time of playing, I've only been a victim of a vote once (the vote didn't pass) and I've never seen anyone else kicked.

Not sure if it was fixed in the 1.04 update, but if you lagged out, it would say you were kicked. For some reason, that was the default message for disconnecting/lagging out. That might be what has been happening with you. Like monkzilla said above, if someone puts up a vote to kick you out, you get a notification about it ingame. So if you're not seeing that notification and still get kicked, it's likely due to other reasons.

I got "kicked from a game by other players", message and thrown offline into storymode. WTF. there was around 14 players all different crews and levels and all over the map. Could not have been them, had to be a bug. Never seen this before.

 

P.S. I had been in the game around 10 minutes.

 

INB4 must have pissed off someone... well no, I get my good sport bonus everyday now.

Funny thing, this.

 

We were happily 2 manning some survival map and we NEVER had any issue with kicking, not last night, not in full 4 player friends survivals. We ended up with a 3rd, which was not an issue at first.

 

Long story short, my friend vanishes from the game in wave 7, sending me a message in which he said he was player kicked.

My question is: Can a player be kicked with only one vote? He never received the vote warning (we tested afterwards only us 2 and we both received the warning, but no actual kick). I never received a kick pop-up for him either. I was host too and we only once experienced a player "split", but that happens with "player left" and not kick message (happened patch 1.03 though).

I get kicked all the time. Seems to happen more on certain tracks, like the one around the prison or "down the drain" (though I welcome it on that course). I have no idea why. The only time I kick people is for playing bumper cars.
