Sell sports cars

Hi,

 

I am not able to sell my Carbonizzare at LS customs. Why is this?

If you wanna sell sports/super cars, you gotta do the glitch for it.

Just don't do the rest of the steps after selling it...assuming you actually want to get rid of it for good.

Nah I want to sell to make room for another car. No glitching. It just wont let me sell it. Ill have to give it another shot when I get home from work.

You can't sell a car worth over 50k but by doing that glitch it lets you.

you have to do the glitch to sell it.

 

just dont go so far as to " repeat" it.

 

 

i will personally dub this " good guy glitching" and wont think any less of you, for what its worth <3

all you have to do is stop at the step where you " repeat" it. and the car will be sold. youll have your money, and we can move on.

 

ill admit to doing the conveniance store glitch just to get out of being " dirt poor". but its nothing game breaking.

 

edit: its like 1200 every 30 seconds or something.

 

at the current rate of missions anymore, its better money. i could do this to make moneys and then do races for rp, and ill probably be maintaining the lifestyle i had back before missions were ruined.

Ahh ok I see! We should be able to sell our cars if we want to imo. I do not need the extra space yet, but will have to consider if I want to do a good-guy-glitch when/if I need the space.

 

The car is fully customized so having to destroy it for an extra place seems unfair.

 

Time will show.

Even if you destroy it, it wont go away, i had my car at the insurance company for 3-4 days, and it never vanished, still takes up a garage slot.

Yes you are right. Destroy/replace - I just want some money for it if I am getting rid of it

The way the system is now though sports/super cars are literally money pits cuz you can't get any return whatsoever on your investment capital. Players should be allowed to recoup a percentage of their investments, especially considering the outrageous costs of upgrading your car and the limited garage space (not to mention reduced job incomes). At the very least, there should be a mechanic in place when replacing a car in your garage when it's full similar to buying a new property, where you get back a percentage of the initial cost when you buy a new apartment or garage.

Hmm might try this to sell the duped corquette in my garage it was duped accidently by the garage after i upgraded apartments.

i can't seem to get this one to work. i either spawn back in LSC with the pos car i'm using for this, or i spawn in LSC with no car and have to go get mine and i get the "cars over $50k cannot be sold" message when i bring it back..
