Who would you rather play with? With the one who glitched to get money, but is not griefing, and being friendly and helpfull to other players, or the one who grinded his tanks and high gear and only plays the game to piss off and troll others?

i admit i glitch to have fun with fast cars, i dont go round shooting people. i actually help others by joining them to find other rare unique cars and help doing them up with upgrades using my own money to benefit their fun,.. im not a troll i dont go round blowing people up for my own entertainment.. im friendly and like to cruise round.. but then if someone did try and troll me or anything, yes! i will go after them but i would'nt blow up their cars and become a bad sport... im just helpful, fun to play with and i aint a knob head.. i dont compete with others with money balance or throw my XF in their face or anything.. ill pick u up, go for a cruise or drop you off where ever u want to go... not all glitchers are bad but then again.. everyone has their own opinion

The incentive to not glitch for me is actually achieving something. I feel like I actually work for things and therefore appreciate them more.

Generally I would never glitch in MP games, but this is the exception. Ridiculously hard to make and save cash and purchase the things you want legit. I bought GTA mainly for online expecting an improved version of IV with heists and missions etc, not to try to have 'fun' in an economy that appears to be in deep recession, at first I only grinded but when they patched that I glitched like a mofuker. I have zero regrets as now I can play gta how it shouldve been. Enjoy free roam and cause chaos, do missions, drive cool customisable cars, not worry about ammo consumption and prices of hospital bills etc. Call it what you like but I would much rather play and glitch in this game than try and grind like a gta version of runescape. It's not even about the cash cards but their obvious attempt at promoting them goes against everything I thought rockstar were about and just make me want to glitch more.

Anybody that glitches in this game should have there console broken and beat over the head, because they think its all "rockstars fault". No its called your a money hungry little bitch that doesnt have to patiance to make legit money and shouldnt even be playing the game in the first place, except for DeeManJeeza, hes not hating on anyone but i just dont like how he glitched the game.

..and when the glitching is fixed, if it will be fixed, everyone will be whining about cash card buyers.

I've glitched for the money solely to buy what I earned from leveling up. I don't have time to play a mission for up to 20 minutes for $20k.

In single player, you had little money to start off with. But by the end you had more than what you'll need. And then theres the stock market that can multiply your GTA$. Unfortunately GTAO isn't set up like that. I'd much rather keep my job in real life to make real money. But that's just me, some of you guys may have more free time than others. I don't feel that the money glitch I have done affected any other players at all. Maybe get them jealous by driving a full modded out car or something. It gives them something to strive for.

Maybe Rockstar will get clever an make a glitch that when used deletes your toon but not right away give it a day or 2 so they dont catch on

Well, money glitches...hell no. Those playing for money are completely missing the point of the game. To me, the game cash is a bonus from doing activities and lets me use stuff.

Other glitches such as duping vehicles and such are not so bad, because they don't give you an advantage (think of all the duped vehicles spread around, they're either average, similar to other cars such as Franklins Buffalo or can't be customised.) I also personally love rare vehicles and they've been around since GTA 1, along with fun glitches that do strange things to the game. Which brings me onto the Tow Truck, anyone happily going around freezing others has issues of some sort.

For me, I don't glitch and never plan on it. I like to know that I invested my time to achieve something. People that glitch in the game are probably the same ones that either sit at home all day and expect something for nothing or those who are simply to lazy and lack the mental capacity to appreciate working for something because their parents give them everything.

Sure, it's a game. But the way a person plays the game says a lot about there character as a true person. To me, it's a cowards move. But to each there own I suppose.

Depends on the glitching, in my opinion. Glitching for money to a certain extent is all right, however glitching billions upon billions is quite overboard. Glitching cars into your garage, such as police vehicles, sure that's OK, since they can't bring any harm other than an unmodifiable vehicle with lights and sirens as a personal vehicle. However, glitching Attack Choppers, P-996 LAZER jets, and Tanks is a bit overkill, because of their insane insurance costs, and their standard-issue missiles, chain guns, and explosives that come on them automatically.

Do you think glitching GTAO is ok?

Personally, I say no. Here is why:

It is morally wrong to take advantage of something that hurts the experience of another customer that played the way the game was intended. They shouldn't be allowed to walk around owning Los Santos while people that play the right way are left with a sh*tty experience.

NOTE: I don't know how to make a poll. Please leave a helpful comment instead of crucifying me in the comments. If you choose to be rude, please know that I don't care and you are only being negative to the task on hand.

How does it leave you, or anyone else, with a sh*tty experience if I, or someone else, owns a better car/gun/apartment/etc? There are going to be people with better stuff than you regardless of people glitching or not.

Your argument is ridiculous.

So if someone has ten million it's okay but it becomes a problem if they have billions? You sound like the "99%"/Occupy retards.

You can acquire the the Buzzard and Lazer without glitching anything.

What are these insane insurance costs you speak of? It costs $1,000 to call for your Rhino tank. Wow! So much money! /sarcasm

So you believe you're a morally superior human being because you play a video game the "right" way?

This has to be one of the funniest posts I've ever read on a forum.

I understand not being fond of hackers and cheaters in competitive online games like Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Battlefield, etc, but this is GTA. GTA games aren't about morals or being fair.

Superior?? Not only no, but hell no. How someone chooses to play the game is his/ her choice. It's a video game. That's the joy of it. Anyone can play how they want. Glitch or not, we all play for the same reason, because we enjoy it. All I was doing was voicing my opinion on the thread just like everyone else. It was your assumption to call me a "Superior Human Being" just because of my opinion and how I view cheaters.

Do I play the game the "Right" way? Who's to say what's right and wrong? What you view as right, could be polar opposite of my view. It's all on an opinionated and biased spectrum. Hence the reason I said, "To each there own." I can play the game how I see fit and you can too. Does it make me better than you or anyone else for that matter?! No, it just the path I've elected to take.

Glitching is a form of cheating there is no arguing that. (Not always intentional but if continually used and not reported yes its cheating) But the bigger picture is WHY are people doing it? Look go back to gta 4, what happened when it hit pc... People made their own cars/trucks edited the game changed whatever they wanted. So in gta 5 they gave us more of what we wanted, cargobob towtrucks, planes, tanks, jets, and on and on. All the while promising an even more exciting experience with online. Now online hits and right away most everyone realizes all the crazy fun ideas they got from playing single player were crushed because online is missing many of the cool things sp had. Seems to me this was the fault sadly of rockstar. After all, the dups ive seen are not crazy cars that never existed in the game, they were cut from online, an when gta 5 hits pc it is only going to get worse. (makes one wonder if thats not the reason it hasnt hit pc already). As for the money glitching I see little point, I an at level 102 kinda burned out on the missions, never glitched, never cheated, never needed or wanted too. (although that towtruck dup was tempting). Money wasnt a big problem when the game was working right and even now i sit with 800,000 in the bank an no real need of anything so the 500,000 isnt gonna do much there... Hope they start throwing us some fun stuff soon before we all lose intrest...

IMHO I find it okay to glitch as long as it isn't harming other players. If your modding and hacking resetting peoples stats and being a d*ck I don't agree with that. But selling your car a couple times to afford a nice car is fine in my opinion. But if I saw somebody with with a adder that had got it legit. I would be VERY surprised

I earned every penny of the cost for my adder and my monroe, carbonizzaire and cabrio. I stole the rest of my cars. I worked hard to get the money for all the modding on every one as well. Right about the time i finished off my adder they nuked the payouts. I found it virtually impossible to make any money since then. I sold duped cars to get enough to buy my chopper, plane and boat...none of which I have ever called. I started a second character and am flat out disgusted with how little money she has been able to make getting up to level 25. I have resigned myself to supplimenting the pathetic job earnings with a sold dupe every couple days or so.

How do i feel about glitchers? Well i guess im a bit biased since i dabble in it but frankly nothing they do effects me at all. If i see a tank i leave so it doesnt matter if they earned it or not. By this time it is possible for anyone to have earned any ride so if i am up against someone who didnt earn it how would i know? The only thing that any of these people are doing that would bug me is invincibility and i have not run into it yet. They are only effecting/ ruining thier own experience by skipping the ride and just jumping straight to destination...thier perogative.

That being said i still believe that rockstar should fix the issues...not because using it is wrong...but because its broke...fix it.

I only glitch because I lost significant progress multiple times, twice AFTER the stimulus. I wasn't gonna play for another 3 weeks just to be where I was.

I don't glitch and mess with people. I just love cars, so in constantly modding and ditching and getting new cars.

Edit: I'm not one who sits home all day and just looks up ways to beat the system, I'm just good with computers and have a scientific mind. I find enjoyment in coming up with possible theories and testing them out and tweaking them. I never glitch to grief other people. Bought my tank and hardly use it except for crazy cop chases and putting supercars in my garage. The return in this game doesn't justify having to buy a dozen Banshees just for one with a roof.

I believe that money glitching is fine, but only if the person doesn't have a lot of time to play or only plays on a certain day. I can only play 2 days a week because I'm really busy with shoolwork, so I'm not a regular player, but I didn't money glitch until I was lvl 93 and already had an Entity, Vacca, 9F and Akuma (all fully upgraded). I'm am not fine however, if the person plays practically everyday, it's just being lazy and then they cry about losing some things. Did they earn it legitimitely? No. So do they have any kind of right to get pissed off about it? I admit, I've glitch a small amount of money because I was running really low on cash and I really just wanted to buy a Coquette already. I didn't buy an Adder or a Tank/Buzzard for griefing, just the Coquette and the upgrades I wanted.

I'm also a firm believer that those who glitch money to buy tanks and buzzards for griefing purposes should be punished. Outside of that area, I'm fine with money glitching. And I'm perfectly fine and happy when Rockstar starts patching up all the money glitches in the game. I used to do racing for money and RP (and also because it's really enjoyable, despite the many bad racers who just spin out their opponents.) but since they cut the earnings, I usually only race with my crew members. Right now, I just join random missions to get some money. I might move to Eclipse Towers in the future, but right now, I'm perfectly happy in 3 Atla St, Downtown LS - Apt.10.
