Anyone know where to go from here with this car? don't know what to change and there's just something bugging me about how it looks but i cant set my mind on what it is

Might be the wheels since they don't really match the car imo

Yeah ive only just put them on as a test run to see what they are like

ditch the supercharger, the manifold pipes on the side.

lower it more if you can and change those wheels, or at least the colour, they just dont match up to anything. try painting them black maybe, or at least make them shinier

Take it to the dump. It's ugly and slow. And get an Adder or Entity

That better? still is boring to drive so i will take the Tornado for a spin over this anyday, id rather even take that Sabre you see on the right over that car

Change rims and rim color

Also change the exaust to the one before the one u have equipped ill post mine up later (its not exactly classic but still looks good imo)

I'd say to repaint the rims and maybe remove the air intake. It doesn't seem like it fits the car.

the rims aren't the problem (it looks like a 57 bel air to me), maybe those side pipes, but what it comes down to is what do you like (just like when you fix a car up in real life).

What is that piece of sh*t? It's not a chrome Adder, that's for sure.

That's really nice.

OP, imo, lose the in-take.

I see this and similar cars as classics, and they should stay that way. Classy.

Can't stand the look of the Peyote with an in-take. It's a 55 Thunderbird. Sinatra drove it! Don't put that ugly thing on the front.

Oh, and in the case of this '58 Bel Air, hard-top all the way.

EDIT:

LOL @ people saying rims don't match the real life version.

I don't have an issue with the rims on OP, but they don't look anything like those.

I hope you know that's exactly what it is.

A.K.A "Blower"

A super charger and turbo charger both do the same thing.

Compress the air intake to boost the air to fuel ratio.

Also takes less strain on the engine as the air is pre-compressed.

A turbo charger is wound by exhaust gases exiting the engine.

And is usually mounted parallel to the engine block.

A super charger is wound by mechanical ties to the engine crank.

It is usually mounted atop the engine block due to the space that's required for optimal air flow and compression.

To summarize, that thing extruding from your hood dear sir is indeed a super charger.

And I do believe the blower shown in OP's original photo is of a twin-screw configuration.

:)

Switch to the Classic Rod wheels or something more old-school. Remove the chrome pieces jutting out of the front wheel well (exhaust?). Ditch the Easter pastel paint job.

Then, get an Adder and chrome it. :p

Its an air intake/blower, its different to a supercharger.

Superchargers are belt driven and blowers are mounted next to the intake.. its not a supercharger haha :p
