I wish you could stop the c*nts giving you missions. Sometimes when I;m about to launch a perfect rocket strike on someone in my buzzard, the f*cking phone rings and the targeting square disappear . It happens a crazy amount of times.

I'm pretty sure I saw a sleep mode option in the phones settings like there is in SP.

 

In relation to the thread I also find myself avoiding anything to do with Gerald Lamar or Simeon, violent duct is a joke now it is more worth your time to rob a store.(which is sad imo) Occasionally still do them with friends for the fun tho.

Just wanted to add my support to this thread.

I played on the new patch for the first time last night, and after playing for a couple of hours, came out with stuff all.

 

I'm completely happy with the RP system. But this latest "war on payouts" has pushed it too far for me.

 

I went on the Rockstar Support page, and posted Feedback (marked as Game Suggestions/Feedback) to let them know. Would recommend others do this as well, but make sure it's clearly marked as Feedback and try to write like an adult. e.g. "R* PUT THE MONIEZ BACK U C*****" is probably a waste of time

Just last night I got invited to VD, I was just bumming around in freeroam so I joined, payout is $1500. A fortnight ago it payed $9000. I spent $400 on armour and a few hundred on ammo so yeah less than a grand profit.

I'm real close to abandoning missions. What keeps bringing me back is the crew I run with. We use mics which makes it pretty fun. We have fun planning out our missions, completing a mission then we are all disappointed with these sh*t payouts after a mission is completed. I can rob stores with a helicopter making more cash with less effort than alot of these missions that were cut in half not to mention racing.

 

 

Won't be long until racing is nerfed I bet.

what i dont get is.. why cant you replay mission but you can replay races?? now that dont make sense..

 

the worst part of mission "esp with the plane" whe some dumbass dont know how to fly try to fly the damn thing and ruin everything..

 

another thing that annoyings me is when im kicked for a mission.. i get a little texts saying i quit the mission and if i keep doing it ill be label a bad sport..

In the wake of the latest 'patches' which halved missions payouts and prevented replays I've found them to be a complete time & ammo sink and not worth dealing with.

 

The missions from Gerald, Lamar & Simeon give so little money and RP I ignore anything associated with them. Given these people make up nearly half of the contacts shows how unbalanced missions are.

 

The missions that are worth doing from the rest never come up by themselves and they never come up when I request a job.

 

Example I'm lvl 40 ATM and If I call Ron he only ever gives me a 3K job about stealing a tanker I unlocked at lvl 10 instead of a well paying job I unlocked at lvl 35 etc. The only way I have played Base Invaders and Titan of a Job is from friend invites.

 

Even with these better jobs why should I spend 15min doing multiple objectives when a 2min race with 6 people will net me +2000RP and $11000?

 

Do you guys think something needs to be done about missions? Because at the moment the opportunity cost of doing them is MASSIVE...

A lot of us are discussing it, because we feel the same way. It's a bit of a gameplay concern. I can say myself, that I'm less likely to join in to help newer people in missions, knowing that I'll barely make any money.

 

It's actually your opinion on the subject that offers no value whatsoever - so perhaps it's you who needs to go back to Facebook and twitter - we really don't care that you don't care what he thinks.

I'm playing missions less and less.

I've done everything available at my level - so Rockstar's claim to get us to try to attempt a variety of missions is moot. I have several that I like more than others, regardless of money, but after armor and ammo, they're usually not very profitable compared to just farming races.

I've done them. I know how they work, where the enemies spawn, where to hide, how to get the objective done the fastest.

It's just their claim to make money more difficult to obtain, so that their Cash Cards will be considered more viable.

Mark my words - they will lower the payouts for races.

Also I want to add, that Rockstar told us money wasn't important, ranks were, and that because of this the GTA Money cards would not have an effect on gameplay.

 

Yet it's money they slash, not RP.

The missions are fine. I just want more stuff to spend my money on. I got an apartment, and you can't own anymore so.... do I just buy cars? I hope they introduce more stuff. A Casino would be incredible.
