I DON'T BOTHER WITH MISSIONS ANYMORE

Why are people so obsessed with phony currency? So it takes a little longer to buy stuff, big deal. Eventually you will run out of stuff to buy anyway. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. People forget that playing a game is a progression where you enjoy the steps towards completing a goal. Playing with friends, as well as trying NEW ways of completing the same missions is part of the experience.

Unfortunately, many people have reduced the game down to fake financial status symbols. I really don't know what everyone was expecting as far as how much there would be to do in this game. It wasn't supposed to replace life, or reinvent the wheel. ALL games are somewhat repetitive, yet people fawn over first person shooters like COD and Battlefield, and these are the EPITOME of repetition. :facedesk:

They don't see it. It is a job to them, a quest to achieve fake kudos that drives them on.

The cars and planes in GTA are simply an extension of the achievement system already built in to every game now released.

Gameplay has taken a backseat to being able to proudly parade your badge of honour that states you managed to clean up Chops' sh*t 500 times or ride around the map on a pink bike. On a Friday.

Missions are for fun with friends/crew, or making some small RP in a more relaxed way than racing... If anyone does missions anymore to make money they're insane lmao

As a racer, I agree races are overpaid compared to missions. Should be the other way around.

Yes, an 8 lap race around Vinewood Nights against good racers should give you big bucks, maybe 20000. But it´s also true a 20 minutes mission should be worthy.

On the other hand 1 lap races or races in silly circuits like the prison one should be paid like 1000 maximum.

Free aim should pay more also, just did a gang attack with 30 on free aim and only got 500 RP..I mean what the f*ck, 1 lap of the prison gives me more.

It's all so unbalanced and unrewarding, that's the problem

Unbalanced is right. Base Invaders was easier than Death From Above and it paid 18k more. Base Invaders doesn't even give a wanted level for breaking into the military base and you only kill about 5 people. In my opinion, one of the easiest missions in the game if you drive your car to the base. Death From Above gives you a 3 star wanted level with cops surrounding you and a helicopter after you as well.

There's no point in any of Simeons $500 missions as they really only cover things like food and drink which are about $4 each. They don't even cover one sticky bomb and just about cover super heavy armour leaving you with a profit of $4 again if you complete the mission.

They really should have thought about only halving a few of the easy high paying missions. Stupid move to half everything.

It's like they're trying to do everything in their power to make people buy their damn cash cards. I would sooner glitch the money than pay actual money for in-game money.

I agree, but as I said less people are accepting mission invites due to poor payouts so I can't even play for fun anymore because a lot of missions are no fun on your own, landing strip being one that instantly springs to mind.

You're done with it? You f*ckign started it with your wild accusations you muppet.

She;s the WWE divas champ, that;s who she is, bitch got talent, you better recognise

Gotta love the divas <3

Divas FTW

I have no idea who you're talking about, but anyone who puts a hot girl as his avatar is just kinda sad. I've been with girls much hotter than that ... even had an a 19 and 25 year old at the same time ... and I'm much older than that. But you don't see me using a pic of the two girls going down on each other as my avatar. lol

Sexy does not a hot pic make. Hot girls who are bitches are not sexy in the least. Unless you're a 14 year old male.

So having a hot chick as an avatar is sad..wow okay whatever you say. I forgot that that the 100x100 pixels beside your forum name pretty much dictate your entire personality, life and virginal status.

Agree with u.....

I'm Lv. 90 now and doing Gerald, Lamar & Simeon's mission is just wasting time.

But no new mission provider appears is really painful for mission lovers...

Now if I call Martin for job, I either get a high-level required well paid job or a low-ranked sh*tty job......

Races NEVER get old for me, because it is dependent on who you are racing. If you don't enjoy racing, then it simply isn't for you. Does anyone even play Golf or tennis? It's quite fun, but nobody even tries it. I constantly invite people to play, but they just want to "grind" for fake money and status. Grinding for "points" and trophies have actually degraded video games by replacing fun gameplay with a status competition that puts even the worst beauty pageant mom to shame.

Missions are the most enjoyable aspect of the game for me... It's a shame R have ruined them now.

I'm sure this will be sorted out eventually but when? Could be days, could be weeks or months.

Even with these better jobs why should I spend 15min doing multiple objectives when a 2min race with 6 people will net me +2000RP and $11000?

Do you guys think something needs to be done about missions? Because at the moment the opportunity cost of doing them is MASSIVE...

Ya, they should either put the original rewards back the way it was OR nerf races to match.

People with your mindset have ruined racing.

races in this game does get old every lobby has that catchup rng sh*t on and with slipstream and bikes theres is no way of pulling away from other players its just to easy to drive. i have 600 races and plus stat and still not liking it and missions is just worse theres nothing to do in this game now.

still it was worth 60$

WhutsAGamertag

to clarify the mission pay out is half for those you have already passed before

that would be kind of okay if there were more mission but everyone at Level 30 has played definitely any of them.

I also remember Lester calling me at Level 15 to get an high end apartment in order to do big jobs and heists... grml not even finishing the sentence.

I currently make more money with crate drops, gang attacks and liquor stores and selling a 9k car every 24 minutes as with missions.
I am Level 35 and I can't believe Simeon is sending me the "steal the pink car"" mission over and over again, not that any of his missions are fun anyways.

Survivial and Races are still good

Yeah it is a waste. I even did a little experiment. I don`t remember the name of the missions, but basicly I kept the track of my ammo and then did a bit of math and it turns out I wasted almost 2000$ on ammo while the mission gave me 2500$. A bit more than 500$ profit. And that was a 10-15 minute job. GG R*

$2000 on ammo? This was free aim, right? Please say yes, because that's a lot of ammo.

They need to balance things because I would love to use grenades and sticky bombs, but at $250 and $540 each, it's sometimes not worth it.

Of course, I really do think they'll iron all this stuff out. Red Dead was really uneven at first and they pretty much fixed all of that. Plus, this is an entirely new thing -- balancing it out to allow people to earn money, but still providing a good reason to buy cash cards every once in a while. Which, personally, I won't even consider if they don't take away the billion dollar glitcher accounts.

Yes, I gave Free-aim a shot and my experience was terrible. I have no clue how can anyone aim with a joystick. Feels useing a mouse with my buttcheeks.

My complaint is that there were 500+ missions promised.

At the last count - counting races, deathmatches, missions, jobs, survivals, each individual store than can be robbed, and the ability to rob an armored truck - there are still fewer than 300 that we're able to play (or that have been found).

And when missions only become available at certain levels, you've eventually played everything below you LONG before you unlock the next thing. The details are only changed a tiny bit...

-You get a new racetrack, but you have the same assholes who only try to spin you out.

-You can rob this store, but it looks JUST like that store.

-You can steal cocaine from these guys (but it's different! It's not cocaine!).

-You need to retrieve this car and these guys will shoot at you, but it's different - it's not THAT car!

Rockstar stated that it would be revolutionary - and many details (such as only driver and front passenger being able to change the radio) are awesome - but the actual gameplay itself is shallow, and by halving the payouts (meaning double the work), it's become all the more tedious.

500+ missions were NOT promised as a day 1 reality. This game is supposed to EVENTUALLY reach these goals. This is a LONG TERM online project.

I NEVER expected 500 missions that were completely different from one another. Think about it, can you actually come up with even 100 completely different things you can do in a game? At some point, you hit a wall, and ALL games become repetitive eventually.

Other than some visual add ons, there just isn't much you can add gameplay wise.

grinded 3 millions and got lvl 90 with martin missions completely legit, then 1.0.4 came and I just didnt see the point of doing the missions. Races were better but now players would grind RP instead of actual racing so no race ATM.

Now I ve heard about the glitch, made my millions and will now ACTUALLY enjoy what ever is next since time/grind or race position won't be so crucial to my progression.

Yea there are some missions that are just not worth doing anymore.

I did high priority case and had to retry 3 times due to technical problems and ended up only getting 3500 for it if I remember correctly. At first I was thinking that missions would pay sh*t but it may still be worth is but no not at all. Turbine Carbine, death from above and some others are really just not worth it anymore. on top of all that explosives are more expensive on the mission menu than in ammunation, I'm not quite sure the reasoning behind this but I spent 7,000 on ammunition for a job that only paid about 5. But I am still making pretty good money nonetheless, I do more variety of stuff and the money is good, not to mention its still fun. Even if some missions are just not worth it, they weren't worth it to begin with..

My conclusion, the more difficult missions pay less- FACT lmao I am Rank 61

In the wake of the latest 'patches' which halved missions payouts and prevented replays I've found them to be a complete time & ammo sink and not worth dealing with.

The missions from Gerald, Lamar & Simeon give so little money and RP I ignore anything associated with them. Given these people make up nearly half of the contacts shows how unbalanced missions are.

The missions that are worth doing from the rest never come up by themselves and they never come up when I request a job.

Example I'm lvl 40 ATM and If I call Ron he only ever gives me a 3K job about stealing a tanker I unlocked at lvl 10 instead of a well paying job I unlocked at lvl 35 etc. The only way I have played Base Invaders and Titan of a Job is from friend invites.

Even with these better jobs why should I spend 15min doing multiple objectives when a 2min race with 6 people will net me +2000RP and $11000?

I still do. I'm waiting to be level 100 to get the RPG and start killing people. Level 95 right now.

Some of that is true but this is a game played to have fun. Money in this game makes it fun. You can't run out of things to buy. If I'm correct rocket launcher ammo is 1k a pop. It can hold 20. That's 20k and I'm sure the mini gun cost to. Tanks too.

Eventually everybody is going to start killing each other in free roam with these weapons and it will be FUN. It's gta that's the point. I'm not sure about others but I don't give a damn about status.

Gerald, Lamar & Simeon have never had good missions.

Martin, Lester, Ron & Trevor are the go to for good missions. Also find a crew and do them in groups. Base Invaders is a great paying mission that only takes a few minutes, docks to stock is pretty easy and quick to along with many others.

If you are wasting 2k on Ammo to complete a mission you need to rethink your strategy.

R* fails of half pay on missions but...

Survivals on Hard are good 20,000 and 3,000 to 4,000 RP, soo if you dont like do missions there are a lot of things to do (Races, Golf, Tenis, Deatmatch, Parachutes everything with BETS!)...let´s wait for Heist and Creator....the problem is that everyone wants a full 10 cars garage and the 400k apartment....with 900,000 bullets on every weapon and FULL customized cars....in real life, you need to work for that, if you dont wanna glitch or farm missions... Do something and stop complaining.
