Passive Mode is kinda useless

So the more I mess around with free roam the more I'm starting to come to the realization that I'm still getting killed the same amount as if passive mode is off. Just wondering if anyone else thinks its pretty useless?

I agree... however if I want to idle for some time, I simply go to my garage because I can not trust Passive Mode.

I only use passive mode to troll people when I'm bored sometimes. Spawn kill some nerd rager a few times, then go into passive mode and jump on top of something...then watch as he spends the next 5-10mins trying (and failing) to kill you using multiple methods.

I just go into passive mode where a car or anything can't reach me if i need to afk for a sec

I've found passive mode useful against on foot griefers but it's kryptonite is vehicles. I personally wouldn't call it useless, if the mode made you completely invincible then it would take away the thrill and suspense.

I don't think the point of passive mode was to be immortal but just to protect you in stores and other non reachable vehicle spots.

Passive mode is very useful against tanks. If there is anything at all to hide behind, youre pretty much invincible
