A Wonderful Evening of Burned Rubber, sh*t-Talking, and Gettin Paid

Today I started up GTA Online, went into a random race, and began lapping the prison a few times with a couple friends. We went from supercars to coupes to everything, and were having a blast. Along the way we picked up a few randoms, popping into the game two or three at a time between rounds. There were even some of you from the forums there. Soon we had a full 16, and were switching between every game type; from racing to team deathmatches.

I did pretty well, over the 6 hours I played. At the end of it all, I'd had many laughs, made a few new friends, and earned over 5 levels and a quarter of a million dollars.

This, I think, is how you should play the game. It's a party. (A party garage, wink nudge, to the forum members that were there.) You don't need to grief or glitch and have everything to have a good time. I don't care if you do, honestly, but this is where it's really at in terms of having fun.

This is the reason why roleplayers are never bitching on the forums is because they are having too much fun playing the game. Except that R* ruined roleplaying in this game... But I agree OP, if you have a full lobby and do everything for sh*ts and giggles this game really becomes super fun, regardless of how "broken" it is.

My crew pretty much does this everyday. We alternate between race/deathmatch/etc lobbies and doing the few remaining good paying/low risk missions. Feel free to join the GTAOLegion over on the socialclub.

Come try my crew, active members, on most nights, supports xbox/ps3 and w go out in gruops to take on griefers.... So much fun

I always have a laugh when I join gtalegion in game. Most people have mic's and use them, and Im constantly laughing my ass off. Last night was f*ckin hilarious brah! I leveled up 8ranks, and made just over 250k.. And not once did I think about how much cash I was making.

 

Im going to join your crew now..

I started doing this with mainly missions a few nights ago then last night progressed to the full race/survival/missions/etc with a few guys made up of existing friends, peeps I've met since online launched and I'm guessing a few new people who have all decided to do the same thing at the same time.

It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun now. I cudn't believe how much cash I made in a few hours without even thinking about it after I'd spent days of grinding out missions for only about 20 to 40k a session(although i still enjoyed that). Its as if a whole load of people suddenly get how this works and its starting to really take off.

It leaves freeroam to be more of a break into extra fun instead of a chore which leads into missions then back to a chore with little if any profit.

Love doing the races in all the different classes of vehicle. Gives almost everybody a chance to get some success in the vehicle they are best with, and also after you all get used to the tracks the races can get really intense and tight.

I think this is what makes GTA Online great is that you can all play together and not worry about some random following you around and killing you for the sake of it.
