Anyone looking for a good TV show to watch? I have a suggestion. Check it out: http://www.nbc.com/siberia/

 

 

A bunch of reality contestants are put in a "Survivor-esque" situation, but in Siberia. They can quit at any time by pressing a red button. When the button is pressed a helicopter will pick them up and escort them out. The goal is to last until the winter. Whoever is left at the end gets to split up $500,000. Strange things start happening, a contestant dies. People get injured. When they contestants help an injured player to the red button, they find out it was fake. They try searching for the production crew but they are all gone. Only the camera men remain. They later find helicopter blown up. They leave and find a strange science station, find some dead scientists and call for help. A bunch of military guys show up and hold them hostage. Eventually they escape but not after losing one of their own in a firefight. They stumble upon an abandoned town. It has power so they watch some of the footage from the camera men. They see a strange creature was in the woods with them, trying to attack them. Then, the military men show up outside, guns drawn. Someone enters the building and it is the host of the reality show. The end.

Yeah but Flash Forward isn't really similar to LOST. Plus it got canceled.

But, in that sense, a reality show isn't at all similar to LOST. At all, I mean apart from the fact that its a bunch of people on an island. But if that's the criteria for comparing to LOST, King Kong is another good one.

 

Its got people on an island, a monster, boats and planes.

 

Flash Forward is a lot like lost in the sense that the story follows several people, reveals more about their individual lives, and requires them to work together to solve a mystery that involves every one of them.

I wouldn't say it is really similar to Lost but Revolution has had a few Lost-esque moments recently. Few moments that are like "what the f*ck?" or "why the f*ck?"

First few episodes need some patience though.

It started out promising, but somewhere along the way they dropped the ball, big time. And then that ending -

"You weren't supposed to be here"

THE END. I hope there is going to be a season 2, if only to fill up those plot holes.
