I'm only rank 40 right now - haven't unlocked this yet. If you call one in and it blows someone's personal vehicle up, do you get the blame for it? i.e. bad sport warning?

 

If so, it's even less useful than it appears in the videos. Where, to me, it seems like it's only good against stationary NPCs you can get within throwing range of. Who are outside.

 

That'd be a shame since it looks pretty cool otherwise.

Place a bounty, you can blow sh*t up and not get a bad sport apparently

It's pretty useless. I had a bud that had it throw it on the ground by me, missiles blew up right next to me and did no damage. Would be better if instead it worked like mercs and you picked a target for jets to go after. Makes it anti air too

Hmph! So it doesn't even obliterate everything in the target area.

 

What did you mean with the bounty Doolz? If you put a bounty on a guy you can blow him up with impunity? I'm not particularly trying to get round the bad sport points - although I do think they're stupid - but just wondered with things like the airstrike.

 

Ah well, I guess there's still mercs and helicopter backup.

Anyway thanks - I'll experiment with it when it unlocks. Sounds like it's kinda useless though.

Lol, an airstrike for 12,500$ that apparently doesn't even kill the target half the time... wonderful.

It's useless. You can throw the flare and the time between when the airstrike happens is random and from my experience never. I throw a flare and no strike. And it's not cause I waited too long.

Saw someone call an airstrike on this GTA Online streamer and that sh*t was so disappointing. I'm glad I got a heads up to avoid wasting cash
