jpalmer2004
I am going to admit, The last couple of days i became more and more frustrated with GTA online. It felt like a never ending grind to get money. I had to quit playing it altogether. I love GTA 5. Yes, On and offline have its issues. But, What game doesn't? I was watching youtube videos today of other gamers playing online and they were having a blast. They were playing it the way it should be played. like all other GTA multiplayers. I fired up online again today. Without even thinking about money. I started today with 28 grand in the bank. I just turned it off for a bit with 17 grand in the bank. I got a bunch of cool clothing and a tat. Apartment. I'm not even gonna worry about getting an apartment. It will come when it comes. I got into some pretty funny chases with other players. I found these two guys getting chased by the cops. I stopped and started drinking a pisswasser and they ran me over. I came back they were running down the beach and i heard them say they wanted to steal my truck. So i came up to them honked and gave them the finger. They started raging on the mic . The reason I wasn't enjoying online and what i think the reason is for most people was the never ending grind for money. f*ck the money!! Just enjoy the game for what it is! Betox190
Well said, i started giving a sh*t about the money after buying my apartment (just 115k) and knowing R* will give everyone 500k, with which i will be able to continue buying ammo and maybe the best apartment and mod a car. Do what this guy said, it is purely truth, you have fun playing with other people pretending this is IV's online!

TJGM
It's always like that. But after you second or third session of not giving a crap you get bored.
McDodge34
This is the way I'm going to enjoy the game, waiting for the free 500k that should happen soon, buy any cheap 6-10 vehicle space garage/appt and grab some nice cars/trucks and mod most of them to the max... StarVisitor
You couldn't have said it any better! People have tunnel vision when it comes to this game and miss out on the beautiful and awesome experience this game provides. They want to go straight to the ending to see what happens, or just straight for money online and they don't realize they are not experiencing the GTA V experience. Do races if you feel like racing, go around killing people if you want to, go myth hunting with some friends, go make stunts... just play to enjoy yourself. TIMSTER777
Don't bash me for this but this game could get tremendously better if it is ever released on PC... *grabs popcorn*

People will blatantly take everything out on the game just because they can, they like to nitpick like a son of a bitch. And when they do like the game, they will take everything out on other players(online) just to be hateful. The game may have some glitches, but it is still a very enjoyable game. I didn't even rush through the story on my first or second playthrough, took me a week each to beat the main story, right now I'm about 80% complete and still having fun. Their is no excuse to bitch about a game as good as this. People who do are nitpicking trolls. StarVisitor

What is really surprising to me is the fact that this game is a MASSIVE PRODUCTION/EXPERIENCE (a QUALITY one at that) compared to other games on the market and sells for the same standard $60 price and people will overlook the details and the amazing features, and still find something stupid to complain about. This game is really amazing, you don't get these types of experiences often (Oblivion, GTA 4, Skyrim... etc). Exactly. This game has so much to offer... you have a detailed HUGE diverse sandbox to play in which ALSO offers a compelling main story, side missions, activities... AND on top of that, you get to experience all of that ONLINE with friends AND WITH A WHOLE NEW story mode. Oh and that's without looking around and appreciating how amazing the landscape/art direction/lighting is.

TheApparentlyGullibleGamer
It's to be noted that although GTA5/Online is a really ambitious project, it's implementation leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not even talking about the server issues, I don't care about that. I'm talking about how you learn to play the game. They drop you in the middle of a cataclysmic firefight with cars flying everywhere and pop a window with some tiny ass writing in it, explaining out some crucial information about how to play the game. I litterally learned what does what, who is who, and how you do this or that from googling out everything about GTA Online because there is no manual, no quick refs, the Briefs that you can replay disappear when you exit the game, so you're pretty much left on your own to figure everything out. If you randomly haven't read somewhere on some random loading screen that the left thumbstick fires the rockets in a race, you simply won't know how to fire them. OR maybe you were too busy trying to get ahead of the pack while instructions about how to play were being displayed at the top left in 8 size font while fighting your way to barely stay on the road? Hop in a helicopter, how do you fire? Left thumbstick again? Nope, this time it's the X button. I wouldn't have a problem with inconsistent controls if there was a f*cking manual with the game instead of having to play with my phone next to me to google everything about it. People who complain about what the game is at it's core probably don't take a step back to realize how great it is, but trying to experience it to the fullest can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. SHARKEM
i do enjoy doing missions with mates though. even after they got nerfed. really wish there were more and even longer and more difficult. i like a race too but they need a better matchmaking system for them. What are you talking about? The onscreen prompts and instructions in Online are not the same as the Story mode. As far as my example is concerned, there are no SP races where you get to shoot rockets so you're the idiot for even bringing up the story mode as a way to get accustomed to the online portion of the game. No offense. And by the way, GTA is a complex game, R* SHOULD, actually, walk people through it's various aspects. You mean that figuring out controls on your own is the right way to learn to play a game?
