That's great news about the trick to spawn it back into your garage.

 

I still don't really think its worth it, though. No insurance means you're facing a huge risk driving it around.

 

 

 

btw will this work with Pegasis vehicles like Stretch limo, or Tank?

I was trying to work the tank earlier, but I think the entrance point is to awkward for this to work. that would be beast to have your tank brought to you anywhere/anytime though.

Just did it again to make sure my theory was correct. Make sure the vehicle is straight forward as can be and slowly creep the vehicle forward while getting in and out constantly. I just did a few times no sweat.

Well we got the vehicle in the garage. Now we just need to figure out how to get insurance on the vehicles.

Common sense doesn't require intelligence. If you passed the tut which assuming you have since you have a garage, you should know you can only have one owned vehicle roaming around at a time. Therefore the previous one gets sent back to the garage as long as you have a tracker on it.

In theory this should work for ANY ungaragable car, even ones with trackers already on them I bet.

 

Nice tip on the Mechanic call to re-spawn the cop car back, I never thought of that.

I don't have any more spaces left in my garage, but I tried one before and I couldn't get it to work. Though its possible. Maybe you could also use it to jack other people's cars? That what I want to know!

I'm not having any luck with this, either. I'm guessing the butter zone is just really small, and it's easy to mess up. I ended up putting the riot van at a spot where I became physically unable to re-enter it, as it always sent me into my garage empty-handed.

I've tried with the fib buffalo a couple times and they dissapeared so I tried to practice with a taxi still no luck

A few hours ago I was able to get a LSPD cruiser inside. I did the steps except take a vehicle out, and I got into the car and it showed the cut scene of me actually driving it in. Been trying again with a different one but to no avail. PS3 if it matters.

do you get to keep the hat after you leave the bad sport lobbies ?

I can get it to where my character sits in the front seat, but then the cutscene makes him get out and walk into the garage. That hasn't put any cars in my garage, however. Is that not how it plays out for you guys?

It did that four times for me, and then all of a sudden it worked.

I could save the cop car, what I did was leave the car near the garage door (the exact place is when you get off of the cop car, the "animation" starts) and then make a forward role while aiming and end up next to the car door and then press the ENTER button.

If I do the forward roll, the cutscene still starts

Just... I'll try to explain.

 

- Get ride of the driver door.

- Try to leave your vehicle at the EDGE of where the "entering garage" animation starts.

- Leave the vehicle and you will enter your garage.

- Leave your garage.

- Head back to the vehicle and stand near the driver door without triggering the "entering garage" animation.

- Calculate the distance of a roll (AIM + SQUARE) so when it finishes you stand by the door of the vehicle.

- While you do the roll quickly tap TRIANGLE and inmediately tap START.

 

Then the animation entering the garage with the vehicle should begin... You just need to master the perfect location of where to leave your vehicle and the roll distance.

Ha, no idea. Just followed what the guy said. Going to try now without it...

 

EDIT: Found something useful to do with "START", if you place the car too close, can't get on it and want to move it a little further from the garage door. Press TRIANGLE and then press START so the entering animation won't trigger while you are on the menu.

Mmh... I was trying to doit with a Banshee from the streets but when the "entering garage" animation triggers the character leaves the vehicle and walks in normally.

Then I lined the vehicle perfectly straight as I could get it to the garage and bam the first 3 times I got it instantly. Worked for me, so try making your vehicles straight forward.
