Has anyone been able to get the Buzzard into the $400k apartment garage? Would love to save myself the $1.75 million it costs.

It is not just the price, it is the bonus that you can get it delivered by your mechanic ANYWHERE you want.

Not only aiports... (which is worst idea ever)

Lol I didn't even think about that, even better. The only dilemma is which car to get rid of then. You only need 1 open space in your garage, correct?

'll have to go through the whole thread and see how to glitch it and then insure it. Being able to have a heli delivered anywhere would be insanely helpful. Nothing is worse than trying to steal a jet from Zancudo, dying from a tank and then spawning away from everything in those damn marshes.

I have a full garage and I don't want to remove any cars from it. I can keep the lets say riot van in the same spot as before and have it insured? I don't want to move any cars around.

Did you have the issue where your character would get in and then get back out right before the cutscene? And you just kept trying and eventually it worked?

I just wanted to say thank you everyone for showing us how to glitch cop cars, helicopters, etc. into our garage. Thank you Tido for showing us how to insure our cars. Because of this I can finally relax in GTA Online without overly wanting money for cars. I don't think I actually need money now because I have everything I need to have fun. I can say that I have the achievement, "Crazy enough to own a jetski in he's garage!"Before I end this post, I will show you guys my collection.

how did you get the firetruck in? My character gets in but then gets out and walks into garage on foot

Finally got my Riot Van. Had to switch apartments. Anyone that has the Del Pierro apartment, I believe, the Riot Van will not work with it. The walls on the sides of the garage are to close. Bought the Tinsel Towers and it works beautifully! Thanks to everyone who has been contributing to this thread! Really nice to see the community come together instead of flaming each other!! Nice job guys and gals!!!

 

EDIT: this goes for most large vehicles. Placing them parallel to the garage is the best way to get them in. Or slanted, like with the fire truck.

yep it's exactly what happened. you can see the position of my buzzard above (i posted 2 pictures). i just tried again and again, he always got in and then out of the heli, and after 3 hours and maybe 80 attemps i finally succeeded !!!

Maybe so, but at least putting a successful one together in a video is a little easier for people to get their heads around, rather than piecing together snippets of info spread over 5 + pages.

 

Also, i left the video unedited to show the full amount of time it took me to attempt this going off all the information given to me from the forums.

Yeah, the video was fine man. Shows it takes some fine tuning, although people could always just skip to the time you parked it perfectly. Have you been able to insure it yet?:

yea im not sure what happened with it either, it just went into the cutscene and went nuts. I put the notes etc telling people they can skip ahead if they want and where to skip to.

 

Im about to try insuring it now, probably take a while i imagine to get that sorted but well see!

lol, besides if you have the money to buy the 400K place, you probably have enough to switch to Weazel plaza or one of the easier places, put the vehicles you want in, then switch back.

f*ck, I think I almost had the tank. The garage animation was starting and my character was proceeding to get into the tank but it put me in the garage by the time my character was opening the hatch.

 

edit: did it twice now... I think the animation takes too long
