I got the buzzard stored but then when I went to get it insured, each time my guy would just jump out the buzzard everytime the animation started

I think you cant store the buzzard somehow...

At least it doesnt work for me, everytime I am at the enter animation my screen refuses and stucks for 2-3 mins and after that I am without it in my garage.

It's possible it just takes time. Hard part is trying to get it insured.

I'm using this exact method but the cutscene triggers and my guy stops as he's lifting his leg into the heli

I hope this backing up towards the door method works because nothing else seems to. All I really want is the ability to use these cop cars on missions...it could come in very handy

Probably not without some other hack. You can't bring it to LSC to get it customized.

The FIB Buffalo takes time. Took me a while to get it back in. I had to turn it at an angle to make it work, instead of going straight in.

Too bad I can't fly a helicopter into Richards Majestic. There is a narrow driveway and an overhang...maybe I will swap apartments...

 

Anyone try a cargobob? Would it be too big to fit in the garage? How about a Titan :)

When you come out the garage, turn away from the car and aim then slowly walk backwards towards it until you reach the door, like you would when doing a store robbery, Jump in and it'll probably go in the garage, if not, at least you have control again.

The one at the front is the original uninsured one. The one in the back corner is the insured dupe.

 

If anyone is having trouble, try parking the heli at a slight right facing angle, where the left door is closer to the garage.

Oh dear god rockstar, just let us simply drive police vehicles into our garage.

 

Took me 4 HOURS trying over and over to get the RIOT in my garage but I finally did it.

alright thanks gonna give it a whirl now. When its insured do you delete the dupe to make room for other cars and still have the original insured? or do you have to lose a space.

You can destroy the uninsured one, which is the one in the original spot. The duped one will be insured.
