So has anyone actually broken one? And i'm asking for legit ones, not ones that were broken when the servers were on the fritz and everyone was getting World Records on the first race.

 

I apparently broke the World Record for Race on Power Trip, riding a base Akuma about an hour ago. Saving's fine, no messages about cloud servers, stats and cash saving alright. Got the "Racing Blonde" tatoo and e'rything, although typically you can't see the records on the Social Club website. Classy.

I remember I broke a World Record on the first race on the 4th or 5th of this month. Not sure if the servers were still f*cking up but I think that's when mine started working.

I nearly beat the World Record on some flying race, forgot the name. Missed it by under a second. I couldn't beat that.

On the first day of GTA Online, I was informed of breaking 4-5 records within the first few hours.

Since then, I've received it twice, using a fully modded Akuma on (apparently) the more obscure races.

You have not beat the legit world record.. if you go to social club on the Internet you can see live world records.. I assume the game will never have it updated.. about that I think r star f*cked this game up.. they cant get code right. Now we dont save but it saves cars bad sport and appartments.. but doesnt take money.. there is a major glitch everyone is now a part of free everything.

Because I never thought to go look on the Social Club before you said it. I have looked - checking the Power Trip "Leaders" section just throws up a "No Leaderboard Entries" error

My friend got a World Record with a stupid dirt bike race without even trying and his social club account confirms he was awarded the award. I beat his score by over 20 seconds barely an hour later and I didn't get anything

 

Leaderboards should reset every now and then like Playstation Allstars

I got a world record, apparantly I was 400 and something on a race. How that was considered beating a world record beats me :l

I set a world record less than a week ago. No idea whether it still stands, but I doubt it.

I got a world record for lap time in a GTA race in the buzzard, I can't remember which race it was but it went over the golf course I know. I have no idea how much I beat it by or whether I still have the record, though.
