Obsession with The Commute?

I am not exactly a fan of point-to-point races to begin with, but anyway ... Can somebody please explain to me what is the appeal if The Commute race? It's like everytime this race comes on you're bound to play it over and over again until everyone leaves. I get that the races supports up to 16 players, but it just stinks and if the host has 'catching up' turned off it stinks even more. Everything depends on the start, where 90% of the time it has nothing to do with you or your skills, but with people who can't drive or who crash intentionally.

I don't have any troubles in races at all. Before I had all my car modded 100% I was using stock cars against 100% modded cars. No catch-up turned on at all and I was smoking people. Was also intentionally bumped by other players to wreck which resulted in them hurting themselves. Definitely driving in this game just takes skill. Catch-up on or off, I manage to keep a big lead.

I like the commute because I don't really have to worry about anything. After the one narrow turn, I know if I'm going to win or not, so I can just sit back and relax. It's not the most fun race ever, sure, but it's a nice chill one.

if you need catch up turned on then you must suck at driving. sorry bro.

 

ive started in the back of the 16 cars pile up and without catch up i do BETTER no matter where i start catch up off means I win more races....

 

why? cause I dont suck at driving. catch up is for people that need help catching up. if you need added help besides your own skill to catch up. you suck sorry just the truth.
