Does exceeding the LSC acceleration bar still have a positive affect on the racing stats of your custom car? I just want an affirmative answer. Other topics on this have been hit or miss. On a sidenote, if I destroy an uninsured car in my garage, will that free up that spot it was taking up? I dont want that granger anymore.

I've been wondering this too. Adding a turbo to one of my cars, according to the speed and acceleration, doesn't change the stats.

 

As to the freeing up garage space, yes, that works

I would really love a reply to this . I don't want to be wasting money on upgrades for my car when do they absolutely nothing. At least with Spoilers and all that, they at least change the cars appearance. Transmission upgrade however, does not,

And also yes, an uninsured car that is destroyed will be gone permanently. An insured car can be replaced either by selling it or buying/stealing another car and swapping it out for the old one you don't want.

Thanks for the info, so my mission now is to pump all the money into my Obey 9F! SO far I only left out the turbo, gotta save up for that.

On a related note, do any of you know if muscle cars/motorbikes still unlock mods for all class types this patch? Or if any vehicle class still does? Thanks.

I have been racing since I started and it has become my primary source of income. So all those threads about winning races and trading races flew right over my head. I unlocked the upgrades for all cars without even realizing nor have a car to even reap the benefits. But I think any win counts towards the unlocks,,,maybe

Just because you can't see it go beyond the "end" of the bar doesn't mean it isn't affected.

 

On a lot of vehicles, it becomes more clear when choosing between custom and stock cars before a race.

Just because you can't see it go beyond the "end" of the bar doesn't mean it isn't affected.

 

On a lot of vehicles, it becomes more clear when choosing between custom and stock cars before a race.

 

This just spurred another question in my mind. can the acceleration stat shown before a race be maxed out? Say the Adder with all upgrades.
