Disappearing money/clothes?

So, the past three or four sessions that I've played, it seems to me that when I log in that almost all of my money is gone, and some of my clothing/hairstyle changes have been undone. I have no idea where it's all going.

 

I always deposit all of my cash into the bank before I log off, just cause it makes it easier to see how much money I have total. When I log back on, however, my character has anywhere between $2k and $6k in cash on him, and a HUGE chunk missing from the bank account. For example, I wrote down my account balance before I logged off last night, ($70,218 in the bank, $0 cash) and when I logged on this morning I had $4,623 in cash on me, and only $10,135 in the bank.

 

WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT? Is my character just like, going out to the strip club and making it rain 24/7 while I'm not playing?

 

Obviously, the simple answer to this would be that my progress is just not saving, but sometimes my clothing changes DO carry over, and the weirdest part... my garage is saving everything! I had a couple of Ballers and Felons that I had squirreled away in there to sell off over time, and I had sold them all while I was playing last night, and used the money to mod another one of my cars. All that progress was maintained, the extra cars are gone, and my main car still has it's upgrades.

 

Is anyone else having these issues? It seems to have started up with the most recent patch (1.04 I think?) Do I just have to invest all my money in hard assets like guns and ammo and modded cars until R* gets things smoothed over? Or is there something specifically wrong with my character's save file?

That's all well and good, but it doesn't exactly seem applicable, seeing as they seem to be implying they already fixed the problem, and it should be back up to date "in a few hours" (as of 2 days ago), yet I the money I just made last night has still disappeared.
