Help with PS3

I got PS3 nickname for COD, but I want to change it for GTAO is there a way to change it? What if I delete my user on PS3 and make new one, will my character on GTAO be erased?

The character and game data is saved to that single psn account so if you delete that user and account you will lose it all.

 

How about creating a universal account something that would work what ever game you play.

 

Take a look at me I dont use alter egos I just use my real name. So it dosnt matter if I play cod or gta or my little pony people know who I am and remember me
