Beta Pharm problem

As everyone knows, the assasination mission of the competing Beta Pharm competitor is a great spot to make money. Unfortunately I hit this one early.

 

My question is about the stock movement for Beta Pharm.

 

So I didn't know about the sleeping trick and instead, I waited for the stock to rise as I played the game and just kept an eye on it. It capped out around 34% - nowhere near the 80% I commonly hear that others are getting. At some point around then, I did a mission with Michael (the first FBI one) and after he wakes up, the stock had plummeted for Beta Pharm, and was listing at 0.23%!!

 

At this point, I wanted to see if I could get anything back from my loss - so I did the sleep trick for like two weeks with Franklin. But the stock isn't moving at all. I can only assume it is only affected by the online rendition from this point on in my game? If I go back to an old save game, I can still see it at 34%, but its hours and hours ago and I don't really want to do that all over again.

 

My main question is should I get the massive profit of nearly $500k (from an $850k investment) from Michael now in my game and redo the hours and hours over again or stick with my current game and only get ~$60k? I'm at about 30% in the game, so its early. Will I not miss that $440k all the way up until the end of the game?

Personally-- I'd just keep going-- the amount you are talking for now is a fair amount but if you just follow the guides for the other assassination missions and do them AFTER you get paid for the big score mission-- in the grands scheme of things you won't end up with significantly less money.

 

You can do ok the rest of the game by just being careful about collecting weapons (bullets) when killing people while in missions and holding off on purchasing stuff til after the story is done.

 

If you are planning on going for platinum trophy-- then you might want to go ahead purchase the dock up on the NW side of map and collect the nuclear waste-- you will net (after subtracting purchase price) several hundred thousand dollars. This is incredibly boring to do though and takes a good 90 minutes to collect them all.
