why do you kill other players in freeroam mode?

I kill other players in freeroam mode when I feel like it

I dont usually kill people but I did it twice yesterday. Why? Normally because if I try just to run past a player they open fire on me so I'm getting into the habit of just killing people if they are near me as the chances they are going to shoot me are pretty high.

 

I dont however go and chase people across the map to kill them.

 

had some douchenozzle do this with me last night

 

was just minding my own business, had some friends in the lobby, was parked on the far end of the countryside and went away from the controller for a second. i came back, and some guy on a motorcycle passes by me. i just drive off in my batmobile (black cheetah) and here he comes following me. i thought he'd go do something else since i was just getting farther and farther away from him, but this guy followed me all the way across the map just to camp outside my apartment. when i get out, he starts shooting me, but couldn't get a kill, so i helped him realize he f*cked up after spawnkilling the sh*t out of him until he left.

 

it annoys me a lot more when i have friends around, and some nerd is trying his best to force me to play CoD with him. i'm trying to do things that are actually fun, not have a competition to see who can press L2 and R2 first, so all that dedication he put forth justified taking a fat sh*t all over him imo

 

(and don't say "invite only", because i enjoy it when new people actually want to join in on what we do, invite only sessions don't give you that opportunity)
