This really makes me sick. You get a bounty pinned down in a firefight, all he has to do is change session to get rid of you, and then wait in his house in the new session.

 

Bounties shouldn´t be able to change session, maybe reducing the bounty time to 10 minutes and making them unable to change sessions would produce better balance.

I never go bounty hunter. What if the guy has a 3k bounty on him because of a scumbag driver that got his car stolen? I swear, even if I beat them to death with a baseball bat, they still manage to text me from hell and put a bounty on me.

Bounty systems don't work as a friend can just claim it or you can just switch session/hide out. It's not meant to be serious as it's too open to corruption and the payout is usually hardly worth the effort. The only good bounty system I have seen was in Star Wars Galaxies. When a Jedi used their powers in public they would be in the computer terminal that gave player bounty hunters random unnamed NPC and player bounties.

I had a bounty and was being chased but a mission came up ( a high paying one). I tried to join 3 times and couldn't. I spawned right in front of the bounty hunter. So I thought you couldn't run anymore. I usually kill bounty hunters but I was trying to get paid.

Oh yea he blew my ass away and we had a big war. Other people joined in. Lost lots of money lol.

Wouldn't matter. I use invite only session when i have a bounty so i can always claim my bounty while no one is around.

If a bounty is placed on someone, they shouldn't be allowed to leave the lobby, switch the session, and enter LSC, a garage, and their apartment. And if they turn off their console, give them a massive penalty. I'm getting that sick of bounties leaving the session or hiding in their apartments.
