20/10/13 Not saving properly online

A few days ago I was level 27, levelled up to 31 then saved by returning to story mode, went to bed. The next day went back onto GTA and boom, I'm level 27 again.

 

Last night after I finished work, had a little blast again, got up to 29, made a little bit of money, saved as you do, went to bed and out of curiosity checked again now and voila, level 27 and it's as though I didn't even turn my Xbox on last night.

 

I know I've been saving the game properly, but is this happening to anyone else? Or does anyone know of how the hell to sort it out, seems a bit pointless levelling up etc if it's literally for nothing...

Has been like this the whole weekend, R* is doing nothing, they dont know how to fix it,

yesterday I went from 17 - 19

then next session back to 17

 

This morning when I log in back to 19. Didn't do anything (too hungover), logged off

 

Login now and back to 17

 

Online saving is so great, I can't wait until all games are doing it ;/

Yep same here. Tonight I started at 53, got up to 57, but now I'm 53 again. Frustrating to know that time was just flushed down the toilet. Hope they fix this soon bc as stated above, there's really no point in trying to level and bank up currently. Bleh.

I think there will be a 1.05 patch in place of 1.04, For now it isnt advised to play online if you really must play the game head towards single player.
