[Question] GTA Online goes into main story?

I highly doubt it, but someone said there's a mission from Lester in which you take diamonds to some buyers? (The jewelry store heist from the singleplayer) I myself haven't come across it yet (level 57), But who knows?

Lester gives a mission in which you go rob a crew who has robbed a jewelry store,but it isn't the Vangelico heist from SP.

One thing about the storyline of GTAO and GTAV, GTAO happens before GTAV.

 

Yet when Michael asks Lester if he knows about crews or contacts, he says no, when surely he has millions of contacts (players) to call upon.

 

I know why this is, just pointing it out.

I don't know where I read it, but GTA Online is set sometime before the main story, so perhaps it will catch up someday, perhaps not. I would LOVE to meet Michael in GTA Online though! My pants would drop.

That, and everyone is super rich from selling a motorbike a hundred times, so no need to heist anymore.
