Banshee, there's been no car I've driven more in previous GTAs and for me it was a must have. Comet's good too though.

I definitely got lucky getting a hardtop on my first try, unless you've got money to burn you might want to hold off buying the Banshee until you do have money to burn.

Its only the roof thing that really sways me on this, its a very close cal but with that said I think I still would go with the banshee, the comet was a bitch in gta 4 but was still the go to car but I feel its all acceleration and no pants personly..

 

I come from about 8 yrs experience of online race sims and although I dont expect gta to be sim worthy the comet just feels very arcadey, its possible to drive it fast but to do that it doesnt feel right...

 

The banshee otoh you can have some fun with imo, and the acceleration is nice in turns where the comet just rips its rear tires off and kills ya...

Plus you get a 2 tone paintjob on the banshee.....

Porsche 911s, much like Audi TTs actually, are cars for hair stylists, posers and fat middle aged men in the full grip of a midlife crisis imo. So it's Banshee for me. Viper drivers are much cooler too, we were driving along the motorway one day in a crappy Peugeot and came upon a Viper just cruising along. We somehow caught up and passed him giving him the thumbs up and mock challenging him to a race, and for the next few miles he'd put the gas down, burn off with that glorious V10 rumble, then slow down, let us catch up and take him, and then a minute later burn off again, was great fun. A Porsche driver would probably have flipped us off and just left us standing with a smug sense of superiority. Plus car engines are not supposed to be right at the back of the car, front or middle please (you can probably tell I'm not the greatest fan of 911s lol)

I have both. I bought the comet 1st. It's hard to handle the more u mod it. But once ur used to it it's worth it. I bought a banshee last night gotta say on looks alone it's stunning. Standard wheels do look a bit tatty if I'm honest, but it's a classic from GTA3,. The question is for me now however is I also have q 9f and a carbonizzare, not to mention my bullet cavalcade and sabre turbo. Wat do I replace ? And what do I replace with ?

I bought a Banshee and love it, it's peel outs are so slick. It has my Speed Record in Story Mode of 183 mph.

 

Not many people can drive the Comet well, thus enjoying it.

I've had both for a bit. The Banshee is much more stable but if you drift hard, the Comet recovers better. At the end of the day, I also went through the Coquette and Carbonizzare and I absolutely love the Carbonizzare. Not very many appearance mods available, but it handles like a dream with the right setup. I never have any problems keeping up with anyone. Plus you get the best of both worlds with the hardtop convertible.

I have a Comet, Coquette & 9F Cabrio in the sports class, all fully modded, and my Comet is my go-to car. It does take a bit of getting used to, but after taming the beast, its a pleasure to drive. At the end of the day, its all personal preference though. IMO the Banshee handles like utter crap.

 

This just reminds of the GT2's for some reason.

 

I hate big wings on cars, but this is an exception for me.
