I`m sad too. I sold my custom Sandking this moring. Wanted to replace it with the Mesa. Sold it at LSC for a bit less than 60k. Went online couple of minutes ago. Cash is gone and so is the sandking. I was just checking some stats on my socialclub multiplayer characters page, hit refresh and BAM! Level Zero.

 

I was f*cking level 110! No glitching! Only mild farming and racing like a man possessed! I've been playing without major incedent since launch, and I simply don't know if I'd have the energy to start over from scratch.

 

If this sh*t isn't resolved by the time I get home from work and load up my game, I think I'll f*cking cry.

 

I'm hoping it's just the cloud/socialclub derping like usual, but Jesus..., my heart sank faster than a solid steel iceberg with weights attached.

i noticed that on my social club page untin i noticed it was set to ps3, im on xbox so i switched it back to xbox and bam my stats were back!!

 

so just make sure it's set to the version you have.

And I do. My wife is usually next to me reading manga, as my kid bounces around, having a grand old time. Heck, I even take routine breaks to wrestle with/tickle/ play with him.

 

I look at it like any other normal hobby. I don't ignore anyone over it.

 

Also, this game is not sh*tty. R* and their crap cloud? Sure, total sh*t. The game? It's fantastic. The perfect swansong for this gen.

I've done my fair share of semi ignoring friends and family whilst playing games, EVE being the worst for it, but when I say this sh*tty game I mean it.

 

Video games are sh*tty compared to family time. I let my kid just bounce around whilst I was in my own world and it's akin to neglect.

 

For you to put in that many hours since release makes me question your childs upbringing. I hope your wife is the one paying attention.

this just happened to me as well - was on my social club page checking stat's, switched to check single player and everything there was at 0 - my online character pic had changed to default at lvl 0. This is with a day one character who was lvl 41 - never had a problem logging in, never lost anything.

 

I am confident that this is still server problems, and once ironed out fully they will replace what they can. I've seen some of the roughest launch's for online game's - the worst two offenders being STO and the SimCity reboot. it usually takes a good month or so to get servers stable after a rocky launch. after that I'll start getting attached to my characters.

I went from lvl73 to lvl67.. which is of course better than losing the character, but still not fun at all..
