Neytorokx Posted October 20, 2013 Share Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) So for a couple days now I've been playing online, trying to make money and rank up, ect. However, I have tons of problems just trying to get in the game... here are some of the problems I would have: - I would attempt to join GTA V Online, however the game would put me in singleplayer with my multiplayer character and I would be either unable to move or unable to do anything. The only way out of this is by dashboarding... (I'm on an xbox) - I would get timed out. (Not really that bad as it now attempts to rejoin) - I would get kicked by other players (Disconnected), and put back into the singleplayer. Finally after being able to get into the game, I would attempt to do some jobs, rob some stores, collect some bounties, and maybe sell some cars. The usual. However, I would notice after leaving the game and eventually rejoining that all the money, ammo, and experience that I might have gained from my previous session is now gone. Here's exactly how it goes: I would finally get into a game and select join mission (as I can hardly ever choose a race or deathmatch as it considers me a bad sport for being kicked -.-). I would do several missions, races, deathmatchs, or what ever was voted on until I eventually had around 100,000 (Which takes around 1 to 2 hours depending). I would then finally vote freemode and go back to the game to deposit it in my bank. After depositing I would exit the game through the leave GTA Online option to ensure that everything was saved. Eventually upon joining back from a quick break I would check my bank to see that I'm back down to 89,557 or a random amount (usually around 89,000-91,000) and I have the rank that I started with. It doesn't matter what mission I play or even if I host it, I will still end up with the same amount of money I started with or some random amount... Finally today I got extremely curious and frustrated as to why this is happening (keeping in mind that this is stopping me from being able to get anywhere in the game) and decided to do a little test... For the test I would join and leave different GTA Online sessions repeatedly. Each time I joined a session I noticed that I had a different amount of money in my bank and on me... so at this point I realized that no matter how much I make or what I do... I'm going to end up losing it when I leave... It's now, just after doing this test, that I'm deciding to post this because there is literally no point in playing the game now as I'm just going to continually be reset... I'm posting here to see if anyone else knows of this glitch/bug/whatever it is and if anyone has a solution... Any ideas towards a solution would be highly appreciated! I mean... I'd really like to be able to get back to playing the game I payed $60 for and start working on a nice house and things like everyone else! -.- EDIT: I'm also scared of what will happen if I'm granted the 500,000 that Rockstar announced!
