Character Select?

When I try and enter Online, it sends me to the character select. I started my character in the second slot because I lost my first character in the first slot and had hopes it would come back if I didn't save over it. Moving forward to now, when it sends me to the character select screen, my character in the second slot still says level 33 and it has the cash in the upper right that I had at the time. However, the stats are reset and when I click it it tries to make me re-customize my character. Should I continue with the re-customization? Would it make me lose my stats? When I first logged online today I got into a game no problem, but when I backed out to go to a solo session, that's when this problem started happening.

I can't get my 2nd character slot to save ever. I can play past the first mission or 3 hours all the while saving to the cloud, then when i log out empty slot again...7th try and a lot of time/money wasted.the only progress the game wants to acknowledge is cash flow spent. Bah hum bug.

I've tried many times now to create my second character about 7 times from first mission completed to about 3 hours of play while the cloud was "saving". After leaving any particular session my progress was lost as well as any money spent. Longest session I thought was safe so I bought an apartment, cars, clothes, shotty level 10 guns mods, tats and blah blah went to sleep. Woke up 3 levels back on my first character minus the bankroll of the second characters spending with no second character. Annoyed :-P.

Trying again because it hate myself.

I went ahead and did the customization. It started me over. But after an hour of doing criminal records I'm almost back to where I was. Luckily I still had 100k in the bank. And I've made much more without wasting money on different cars and guns sense I knew what I wanted from the beginning. Also got my turbo and transmissions back from grinding with my good friend. He's still 22 so I can get money from selling the lampadari GT coupe from out of court settlement for 22k. Sure it was annoying at first, but I quickly got over it and now I'm happy with the experience I gained. Saved a lot of money.

what did u lose exactly ? did u got ur apartment cars etc back ?

And can you host a survival ? It needs level 15

Anything that requires a level needs to be unlocked again sadly. Most of the clothes I bought are still there. Just can't wear them without the right rank. Guns were all reset also.
