The New Heists Should be like Payday 2

I agree, having to get in a van, going to park the van at the exit, robbing the place just like payday 2 then fighting your way out with the police

P.s is there any official gta website where we can see when this will be released? Also do we know if the beach bum pack is going to contain heists and is on the 22nd? Want a source

Kind of.

It's hard to explain.

 

GTA's heists are more in-depth in the setup (collecting this, putting this escape vehicle in place there, etc.), but Payday 2 has more approaches (you can enter in any window, there's usually two - if not more - doors to go in, you can disable the security cameras with an ECM jammer, you can get security guards to surrender and handcuff themselves, you can cable-tie civilians).

it is a much more complicated and fun way of robbing banks and stuff. Each of the four players has a role( Mastermind, Enforcer, Techinian, and Ghost). You should look up a lets play on youtube or something

It's hard to explain.

plus heists are longer and pay much more depending on the difficulty it could be million on a 3 star difficulty (hardest difficulty)

It seems like Rockstar tries really hard to not take influence from any other games. Kind of a good and bad thing I guess. But oh well they'll do their own thing and it will probably be cool. Payday is pretty deep but the entire game is about heists so that makes sense. GTA V has the advantage of a whole open world and being able to do prep missions before the heist.

i agree or maybe for once they could surpise us and do the heists and DLC right and safe gta online from being a failure or a future disappointment

Gime a few heist like the one from SP when you're in the sticks robbing the bank full of corrupted cop money and i'm good. Coming out of that bank dressed in full body armor toting that mini gun was the sh*t. That heist was my favorite.

with the reward system gtao has, it will take an hour to do and pay out a whopping 5k.... too bad you had to pay 6k to get the van painted before the heist, guess you should just buy a cash card or have been one of the people that glitched the sh*t out of the game in the first month....

There is a bank map open now to look at with nobody inside. It looks like someone's gonna have to hack doors while other people watch civilians or something. Do a search for the pics of this bank on this fourm. I forgot the thread name. But I went there ingame and its open, just walkin and look around.

Played the demo, pretty much attaching drills and fending off waves of cops while it takes forever to do. I'd rather the heists are like the ones in the SP, especially the first one (prologue) and the diamand heist.

 

I also think some low level heists like forcing the store clerks to open the safe in the back while 1 or 2 guys hold off the cops would be a good idea to transition people from regular shootemup jobs and collection jobs to heist mindset online. Then start the large banks and whatnot.

 

Payday really is more of a horde mode game than anything else. And it's SP is dreadful, it almost requires at least 3 players.

just trying to incorporate the idea of teamwork and the high payout that payday 2 brings not saying they should copy payday 2. Either that or i would rather they add a big payout or high betting for the casino if they add that as DLC.
