Failure to comply to the rules further down when in a car meet will see you kicked from the crew. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is a car meet? [For reference - http://gtaforums.com/topic/634104-car-meet-pics/ here are pictures from all our meets, to get a better idea if you would like to attend] A car meet is a hosted event, which can be for themed (i.e a specific class) or just general cars. It involves getting a group of like-minded individuals together to show off their rides, cruise to different points, have structured and unstructured races and find some great locations for photo opportunities. Is this meet thread any different to others? We occasionally revert back to our criminal roots that landed us in Los Santos and take on the police force or break into the military base to steal some jets. We're also looking at hosting cops and crooks, also a few other mingames regular attendees have created. There are several big differences I'm implementing (see below) Fight club. Dusk is falling in Los Santos, we're parked up in downtown just chilling and showing off our rides... but the time for being amicable and a law abiding citizen is over. We head on down to a discrete location, away from the LSPD... Maybe under the pier or into the sewage system. Other delinquents flock to the location, cars are parked all around - Creating a makeshift arena. Bundles of cash are exchanging hands as wagers as the two fighters enter the arena. The rules are simple - No weapons and fight until the death. Leaving the arena is an automatic loss. We manage to get a few bouts in before the police show up to ruin our little party. We ditch the scene quickly, leaving behind only blood and tire trails. You can either take part or just watch the entertainment, in due time prizes and a wager system will be sorted. British Bulldog. Normally it takes place in the airfield. All participants line up at one end of the air strip within the designated perimeter. In the middle is one other player,, the idea is for all the others to evade them and make it to the other side without being hit. If you hit before you reach the other end, you become a 'bulldog' in the middle too. This goes on, with the players racing from side to side, until there is all but one 'bulldog'. . What are the rules for the meets? The main rule is LISTEN to those orgainsing. It's very frustrating trying to organise eventsi n the meets when people aren't complying. No griefing i.e crashing on purpose, killing others incessantly, calling mercs/bounties or constantly getting wanting stars.
