Helicoptersdisappear while at shop robbery

I use to fly the helicopter a lot for robbing the stores as I think it is a nice and quick way. I land the heli right in front of the door so all I have to to is exit the shop and hop in.. take off.. thats it.

But I have it quite often when I leave the shop there is no trace of my helicoter anymore. There is no way someone took it ( I check the minimap always) .. it was wiped out by the game same as the game deletes cars on the road when u turn your back on them.

I think that is pretty annoying as my getaway plan is corrupted by game mechanics. There should be a longer timeperiod before the game can clear used vehicles from memory.

 

Anyone else agree, face similar problems or have a work-around for that?

Yeah, it happened with me too. I think it's because you putted the helicopter under a car spawn. Try to put in the middle of the road and it won't disappear.

Happened to me also on a custom motorbike, after some inspection I found it had been moved from close to the door to the middle of the street... But it was 10ft in the air, perfectly out of reach.

 

Out of interest was the shop in north-mid LS? Maybe it's the store?

Ok, I will try for parking on the road then.
It happened at different stores, but not all.. I noticed it severely at the first of three on on highway north along west coast.. i usually stopped at the car park..

This happened to me about a week or so ago. I don't know where i parked it (as in street or in grass), but I was down at the store by the mask shop.

 

But once, I parked it on the street, and a car hit it, turned it upside down, and I couldn't use it.

thats why i tried usually not to park on the road as the npcs start ramming it...
