What is a Korean MMO grind fest

There are several Korean MMO companies that churn out free to play hack and slash MMOs on a monthly basis. These usually consist of some sort of cookie cutter wow format with insane experience grinds to level up.

This game is so bad in every way imaginable online

 

1. Missions - Might aswell play a Korean MMO Grindfest. Everything feels terrible, flying planes sucks, the only good job they have done is make cars customisable.

2. Races - Terrible, this catch up mechanic has ruined almost every race.(You approach cars from behind them almost like you're going twice their speed) It's been activated in every race I've played in so far.

3. Robbing stores - Feels like a chore, there is nothing even remotely fun to this.

4. No competitive environment - APB has got this "one" thing right in their game. This game offers no competitive play, everything from the shooting mechanic to the strategy play on this game which is almost non-existent. Essentially just press l2, move stick up a little and shoot.

5. AI is ridiculous - Recent patch has made Hard Difficulty equivalent to ' Aimbot Hacks lolololol wtf '. One peak outside of cover and there goes half your hp. This is the case at lower levels, 0-20.

6. Vehicle damage on Hard Difficulty - You can smash a truck with a Pegassi bike and you will flip that truck.

 

7.What's the big deal about this game? The storyline was mediocre, side missions feel like a chore, you just do them to get 100% completion. The online is just the same. I played San Andreas for a whole year, it was that fun. THIS IS NOT FUN NOR COMPETITIVE!!!!!

This is the problem with the game. It's not fun, it's not competitive. The only time it's even remotely fun is when you have friends playing with you.

It should be renamed to GTA and Friends.

 

If the whole point of this was for me to take pictures on a 250k apartment and buy a cheetah and say, "I got me a rip-off a zonda, hehe" then I must give APB it's credit when due. It cost somewhere around 90 million to make, the team behind admitted to no vision, no clue of what they were doing and still did a better job than this game did with almost triple that amount with regards to online play.

 

Heists will be the same crap. Boring!

 

 

What a joke! This has got the be the biggest dissapointment in GTA history. San Andreas was 10 fcken times better than this!

The zonda point isn't even a point I made, just a reference. This game is atrocious, worst game ever made in GTA history. It took them 250 million and 5 years to create a sh*t game with zero to no replay value and the worst online free roam I have ever seen in my life outside of Gta 4.

 

2. Catchup can be turned off.

3. That's an opinion, I enjoy robbing stores personally.

4. There are leader boards, but this was never meant to be like some sort of E-sport. If you want truly competitive game play look elsewhere.

2. They can, but I haven't been in one yet. Ive done over 20 races. I'm not going to spend a whole hour trying to find a lobby with it taken off for a reward of $1500.

4.There is nothing competitive about this. It's basically an outlet to flail your penis around and scream random crap on the top of your lungs. I was expecting a superior apb but this sucks balls. There is no reason to come back unless you want to do what I just mentioned.

7. No emotional connections to the characters, Trevor was the only well played character. There were no admirable features, nothing to keep you connected. I laughed at the end. CJ was a character you remember, big smoke, ryder and og loc. All these guys were people you remember. Only one I'm going to remember is Trevor.

 

Heists will be boring. This game is boring.

 

They tried to hard with the graphics, they left out so much content. I would be happy with freaken a decent visual upgrade to san andreas and a lot of content.

Fck this boring as crap. What am i going to do with only 4-5 features that aren't even fun?

Point 4 invalidates entire post.

Turn off auto aim, straight away you're having 50 % more fun.

Planes are identicle to SP, so don't know why you make that point.

Competitive races and DMs are competitive environments.

Turn the game off and don't play it.

 

1. This doesn't do anything. It doesn't improve play, it does nothing. It inherently favors the guy with it on, this just makes the game more frustrating in DeathMatches.

2. This is specifically directed to the missions such as Top Fun, they're not fun.

3. Competitive races arent competitive at all, don't kid yourself. Deathmatches aren't competitive as there is almost little to no skill at play, whoever presses l2 and moves moves their stick upward first wins. (Go back to first post).

4. I did exactly that. Still no grounds to make an atrocious game!

You're saying GTAO is bad yet you play APB. Oh the irony.

 

I don't play APB anymore. However, that game was pretty fun for the first couple of days until I reached the Gold district. The clients terrible, it's extraordinarly laggy.

 

I accredited it with "one" thing that it did right and GTA could have learned from!

 

Just wanted to say. Gameplay design wise, that game was pretty awesome. Not too mention the best customization ever in gaming. Shame it was held back by technical issues and a relatively low production budget. Just imagine what those guys could have done with a 200 million dollar budget.
