Pretty sure the open world online is mixed between auto and free aimers... using free aim in that scenario is suicide... It admittedly doesnt take hardly any skill at all.. and sometimes will even get you killed when it wont lock onto who you think is the biggest threat... or someone in your view with a bush screwing things up.

No, the world isnt mixed, wtf? lol.. If you set your aim to free-aim in story mode then you'll go into freeroams where the people ONLY use free-aim; same with auto-aim. And if you have a friend who uses an opposite aiming mode as yourself you'll be asked if you want to change your targeting mode when you try and join the server they're in.

 

And no, its not a suicide scenario if youre actually good at aiming and can think on your feet.. Which wont ever happen using auto-aim (just saying).

If they don't get the kill, they refund your money, so you can keep calling them in and watching the guy get chased down over and over. I've had my money refunded once and the guys finished the job right after, so they dude died AND i got a refund.

 

 

Ah alright, that makes sense then, I was wondering why people keep spending money on them. Maybe I'll use them sometime then, as a distraction if nothing else. I assume I get my money back if I'm the one that kills the target lol.

Pretty sure you're wrong.. Changing aim settings makes you join a different session, and you can't switch while online- only during singleplayer.\

 

Also RDR, MP3, and GTA IV all had different sessions for freeaim/aim-assist.

My personal favorite is get lester to take me off the minimap, grab a ride home, crack a beer, and send mercs after them while watching them on tv, once the mercs do their job, put 2k bounties on them for a while so other players get after them. If you put a really high bounty on someone, they usually just leave the game for a private free roam and wait out the 45 minutes then keep your money.

 

Or make your character look less like a player and more like an NPC (not a lot of flashy stuff or armor on) and wait for them to go immobile like in a shop or something then when your about to get close enough for the minimap to pick you up as being in their area... get lester to hide your dot. 1 minute is plenty of time to follow regular traffic laws up to them, get out, stroll near them and take out your knife and gut the m*****f***er like a stuck pig.

 

My other favorite is to climb to the top of LS customs so it looks like you are in the shop so they stand outside and wait for you in an ambush.... once they're still, shoot them from the roof and laugh.
