truly unbelievable just completing any mission has now become a freaking TASK and for less money? not even worth it

I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed taking WAY more damage from enemies. Literally two shots and I'm dead. Being out of cover for a second can get you killed. On normal difficulty.

I have also felt like this, been invite/ solo for a while trying to get a garage and since the patch things have definitely been different.

As mentioned in other posts, body armor is a joke. A cardboard flap that offers no protection and makes your character uglier than he/she already is because it cannot be worn under clothing.

I have also noticed missions glitching (i.e. Enemies that you have to kill for the objective not spawning or the mission not progressing to the next step after the required action is performed).

Yeah, Rockstar is slowly butchering this game. This morning an NPC took my health down to the nitty gritty with two shotgun blasts, even though I was wearing heavy body armour...... And he was on the other side of a building....

Have guys tried the cover mechanics? I heard the walls you hide behind can block bullets.

Yeah, that would be great. If my character didn't stick the top of his head or elbow out of cover. It would be especially great if my character wouldn't automatically WALK ontop of low cover whenever he gets close to a box or something.

You can take the body armor off clothing-wise in the inventory champ. Doing this won't take it from the life-bar either.

Maybe you need to find a better wall to hide behind. MAYBE

And if you don't mind, when did this game get auto walk? I swear my guy always goes where I tell him, no random spasms at all, unrealistic...

Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't actually protect you from anything.

Armor offers no damage mitigation and does not stop NPC's from shooting and killing you through walls in "Base Invaders."

You're telling me that you've never had any problems with the cover system. You're telling me that it's flawless? That I'm just not good at TPS games? Right....

Just did the mission titan of a job and I had to shoot an npc twice in the head with a heavy sniper rifle without suppressor to kill! Ridiculous

edit: was on hard mode though

So when you buy armor you don't get the blue bar that decreases before your green bar?!?!? Wow so many bugs in this game still! Unbelievable!

No, I'm merely stating that MAYBE the wall your using for cover is not suitable for the situation.

No, the blue bar does appear. It only disappears after I've been shot once by a small caliber pistol. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but a lightweight kevlar jacket is meant to absorb multiple instances of small-arms fire. No?

This happens on just about every wall. The only walls that are good for cover are big apartment buildings, and they're not around all the time. Try taking cover behind a concrete barrier, and you're surely gonna get a bullet in the brain. What if you get caught in a firefight in the middle of the street? I hit R1 to go to cover, and my dude runs to the side of the car that's facing the offender. Your statement is invalid.

Sorry if it is, just talking from personal experience. I hardly die playing missions on hard difficulty. I never have trouble finding cover, and my armor always saves me. Maybe it's the playing style.

If NPC's have been buffed, it mustn't of been by much, because I didn't personally notice any real added difficulty to the missions I was doing last night after the patch, and I was doing some fairly high level missions.

On ps3 hold select to get to a menu. Inventory will be one of the options. Not sure what button on Xbox.
