ONE OF the longest GTA Online sniper shots?

To top off the latest "Longest Distance Stat" thread that I made, I just got this kill and had enough time to quickly grab my iPhone and snap the end of it.

 

Bare in mind my elevation(I'm on top of the building site west of the large ammunation.) and you can clearly see marked where the location is that I hit him, you see him respawn just by his car too, he then drives away whilst I'm on the map @ pause menu.

lol whats the first 3 digits of your user ID? I remember being sniped out of a chopper by some guy on a building.. sniped him back when I respawned then ran him over..

I love sniping npc bad guys during a mission, and I'm soooo far away that a couple of the dudes disappear. But yet they can blind fire from behind a crate with a pistol and kill me with 3 shots. Totally fair

Nah I've sniped people at a larger distance. First shot a miss maybe, then you see them driving off trying to hide and figure out where the shot came from, but the second shot is a hit and kill.

I honestly can't even tell if you shot or killed anybody. You should probably get a better camera if you wanna come on a forum and start bragging about shots, or at the very least have one with sound.

Also I sniped Tommy Vercetti in vice city all the way from the roof of LS customs near the airport. Distance is 9 years and 3 games back.

 

 

No wait I sniped myself. The round went around the planet and hit my in the back of my head.

My best was from the ridge south of the Kortz Centre - someone had just picked up a High Priority Vehicle from the Pier and was hanging out on the beach waiting out his wanted level. He eventually rolls into the parking lot at the northern end of the beach and stops, right in the middle of the lot.

 

He's so far away I can't actually see him - just the car, and I only know which one is him because he's lit up as a car icon on my minimap. So I sight up the driver's side of the windscreen, just above the steering wheel.

 

One shot, right thru the head (at least I assume so - it killed him, at any rate). I have never, ever in my life wished so hard that I was one of those egomaniacs who film every game they play - not to prove the shot happened, but to watch it over and over and over.... and send a copy to the dude I shot, because he's probably wondering to this day where the hell that came from. :devil:

Not impressive at all tbh, One of my favorite pasttimes is sniping people driving around in vehicles at around the max draw distance.

 

Hell, even got a 2 in 1 kill on a vehicle from that distance.

got one on a moving vehicle fomr construction building (Very top) to police impound. So no. You don't hold the longest shot.

I never think of using the sniper rifle. :(

 

I always just "combat jog" (lol..) towards them spraying, works 9/10.

I never claimed to hold the longest shot, but that perhaps it's one of them. As I said, a) I'm about 400metres up on the Z co-ordinate, which lengthens the distance. b) The distance was far enough for only the LOD model of the map to be loading.

 

the only thing that interests me is the track playing in the background :D whats it called?

i've done further from higher and the guy was going full speed in a car, i even made friends with him afterwards, i told you in your sh*tty little thread yesterday there is a maxmium distance because of how far the game draws, eventually everyone with access to a sniper is going to get someone at that distance if they play long enough, in short, you are not a special snowflake and your hands are shaky as f*ck.

GTA uses hitscan, so any long range shot isn't that impressive unless the target was moving in a car or something.

The target was moving. But since I'm not one of those sad guys that refuse to play without recording every second of gameplay, I didn't get it.
