I just got done playing for 2 hours with my brother and we leveled up a couple levels. I left the game, then got back on later and what do you know? My character is back to the level I was at before we started playing and my money is back to where it was. I had purchased mods for my SMG also, but they were gone too. The game isn't saving again right now. It didnt' say the cloud servers were down either.

Same thing happened to me. Lots of rank and 120k gone. And that's money i made with this stupid patch.

Same here, but it seems like it saves some stuff but not other stuff.

 

for example the futo I added to my garage just before logging is still there, and so it the weapon upgrade i bought.

 

Everything else from a hour + got rollbacked.

$120k? I've barely made that my entire time playing. How do people rank up and get money so fast? I do missions, but still am only level 22 and only have $5k. Could it be because I do them solo?

Pay attention to the prompts. If it says "Can not connenct to R* game services" or whatever wait until it reconnects. Also use the appropriate methods of exiting online. Start menu, not character wheel.

Do Martin's out of the Court Settltment mission it only takes 2-3 mins to complete and you get 4.5k money. Don't forget the lawyers car is worth 22k too!

I have some missions that pay well. Well they did. Plus I race. If you win some races, do some missions, sell an SUV, then repeat, you will bank and rank.
