Why didn't this make it into the game? Every car I know IRL comes with a spare so you'd think if you drive by and some guy shoots out a tire, once you get away you should be able to get out and put your spare on until you get to LS customs or get around to fixing it.....

Ever heard of Bullet Proof tires? Word around the campfire is that they work wonders.

I don't understand your point. Every car has a spare tire and I don't have bullet proof tires IRL. I hit a nail 2 weeks back and put a spare on no problem within 5 minutes.

The bullet proof upgrade is the spare tires...if they pop they refill. To have a game where people run around shooting eachother you don't want to stand around for five minutes putting a new tire on. You'll die a lot

I'd rather put a new tire on than drive to LS customs for 10 mins and get killed 3 times on the way and camped while i'm inside TBH

 

Seems like an easy feature to add you could just press right d-pad and ur guy goes through a 60 second tire changing routine.

We'll be getting two payments of 250k shortly, the first likely before October is over.

 

 

How about spare tracks? Apparently, an MBT's tracks can be "popped" from a .45 ACP round.

And any round can pierce a jet's cockpit which is apparently made of dining glass.

Nah man, some pedantic way of fixing bullet riddled tyres will just lead to a lot of deaths via bullets to your skull and devs wasting time, given bulletproof tyres negate this issue on any car you own.

What happens when you have 2 flats? or 3, or 4?

Well if you get 2 flats you obviously are in trouble. But if you get hit with a stray bullet escaping a greifer and lose one you should be able to replace it

That's not that expensive. Just sell a few Ballers, and stick up a few convenient stores and you'll be fine.

its a good investment. im saving for a new apartment too but i still get those tires first.

I love riding on the rims. It's like ice skating, or a like the terrible handling in a Need for Speed game.

 

Two tires are manageable if one is at the front right, and the other is on the back left (or front left & back right). They seem to balance out.

Yeah, try driving a motorcycle with blown out tires. It's pretty much mandatory for bullet proof tires if you plan to make this your main method of transportation.

 

And a tire changing idea would be cool.

How the hell do you have only $150k? You spend way too much time on free roam then doing mission. I had a feeling they were going to nerf money payouts. Now its going to take longer to earn money.
