GTA Online not saving!

Anyone having any problems with this?

Just played for 2 hours only to find that my game hadn't saved!

 

Logged back in and made a few changes, and then quit to retry, again though it didn't save!

 

Found this and it looks like a few people are having the same trouble -

happening to me and a friend also, all my information is saved onto the social club but getting rolled back to pre patch rank each time i exit and return to online!

 

 

R* really have messed up this game with the latest patch =(

Seem to be several threads on R* support now about this!

 

Why can't they seem to get these online issues sorted, don't they test them before they release them?!

It sort of happened to me as well, although I only lost some RP and money, not a whole lot. But it's annoying, indeed.

Rockstar mentality: "Please do not create any new temporary characters and wait for update 1.041."

Happens all the f*cking time. "U got kicked from the session by other players" whilst in a mission, losing all the rp and money from that mission 50% of the time.

Maybe i should hold off on playing for a bit. Really dont wanna lose anything. I thought we were past that sh*t.

 

Still baffled as to how R* focuses on nerfing missions & making stupid "fixes" to unbroken things over fixing REAL issues such as stability, bad sport, data loss and so on. At least they fixed the LSC glitch.

Apparently you should be ok if you exit via the pause menu to story mode, losing connection getting kicked etc is what's causing the issue.

 

Not too worried so long as the Social Club continues to show my updated progress.

Yes, I thought I was losing cash, but then I noticed my level was lower than I remember it being. Playstation here. Assumed I was exiting incorrectly.

I lost a couple of levels

I quit by pressing down and selecting one of the story mode characters. Didn't realise this is incorrect.

This has nothing to do with losing connection or getting kicked.

 

I left by my own, forced saved by going through the menu to Single player, and I still lost everything I did today.

Yeah, happening on both consoles. Noticed something was up when I played Survival and money didn't show 20k

Same problem here. What partially works is switching between your online characters.

I leveled up from 68-74 today only to switch between online and story so I could go into an invite only session, only to find my level had dropped from 74 back to 68.

 

Has anyone had this problem? Checked on the social club too and it says I am level 68. I really hope this is just server delays, I spent a lot of time playing today!

All the progression I made just vanished.

 

I thought all the progression-eating bugs were supposed to be fixed at this point?

Rockstar really needs to warn people that none of their progress is going to be saved.

LOL new patch to fix things and it broken the saving,,they will now make a patch to remove the buggered patch and we will be back to square one,OH VERY DEAR R*,,expect this from trion games standard,what the hell are you doing!ITS PERFECTLY SAFE TO PLAY BTW....just nothing will safe,,ive not found any news on the fix to this situation.woo hoo more losses for everyone.

Press start go to friends and join. It will save your game by joining a friend. Saves on exit. Check social club online profile after you refresh page to make sure. Worked for me!
