Is there a reason to deposit money?

I just deposit 120k and lost all because I got "timed out" trying to find a new session. So it does not matter what you do the money will disappear if it wants to anyway.

You don't even lose your money when you have more than 5k though, I have died multiple times with over 50k on my person and haven't lost it, not sure about the mugger though.

NO THERE IS NO POINT.

We were told that unless your money was in the bank, when you were killed, you would lose a large portion if not all of your held cash. this is not the case.

 

Last Night after accumulating 245k IN HAND I had multiple encounters with death only to lose money in payment to the hospital and upwards of a whopping 500$ cash on the ground. hah.

 

Before last night my buddy was running the same situation and had the same results.

 

MUGGERS ARE YOUR ONLY ENEMY when it comes to on hand cash.

 

Their whole system is kind of a joke at the moment. Great ideas, horrible execution. #KGOD

I never understood why they planned on doing the over 5k thing, why over 5? Does your character keep his money up his poop shoot but can't fit any more after 5k?

Nope, they can steal a maximum of 2k. There's no reason to bank money currently.
