Still loosing gta Online character

So I finally decided to pay gta online today assuming that most issues are sorted out that occurred on launch like characters disappearing. I made my character and did the race in the beginning and a few missions after levelling up to rank 4 in the process. Switched back to single player by accident and when I'm trying to go back to online my character is gone and I have to make a new one.

How are we supposed to level up to 100 with this still going on, 3 weeks post gta online launch. Any other ppl still experiencing these issues as it is ridiculous.

Same happened to me after downloading the patch. Log out and log back in and see if that works, because my character was there now.

This has been fixed for weeks.

 

You must be part of the 0.5%. I mean my power even went out while I was playing and my character is still tucked up in bed in his apartment.

I didn't lose my character after the second or third update. Dashboarding and turning off the console didn't make me lose my character. It seems to be fixed now.

I just lost 25k from my 150k, don't know why, this is the first time I've lost anything since the 1st

Thanks for the quick replies. I do not know what happened. Literally just created my character and done a few things till I was level 4. When you quit into single player it should save but upon return I'm back to the character creator screen.

Stupid question but autosave in single player has nothing to do with gta online right as progress is served automatically on their cloud servers.

Tried all the tips like signing in and out of psn which did not work. I made another character and than done the first tutorial race and again when I quit to single player I will loose my character upon return to online. Awesome
