A few helicopter questions.

Should I buy an attack helicopter, or is it a waste of money?

 

With Merryweather helicopter pick up, what helicopter is it?

 

After I get to a high enough level so that the buzzard spawns, does the Cargobob stop spawning?

The buzzard? Waste of money as far as I can see. It'll spawn at helipads for you from level 43.

 

I've only used the merryweather helicopter once and I think it was a maverick. You can shoot the pilot and fly it yourself if you want, but they won't deal with you for a while afterwards.

 

Yes, the cargobob stops spawning at rank 31. You can't currently get one after that, unless a lower-rank player turns up at the helipad and makes it spawn.

The Buzzard is pretty good, very all-purpose as far as getting things done.

 

Whatever you do, don't buy the Annihilator. The only thing it's ever going to annihilate is your wallet.

How do you get it during missions? Do you have to drive to the airport during the mission?

Well, you have to drive wherever it spawns. There are helipads it can spawn on closer to the middle of the city. But yeah, you collect it the same way during a mission as you would in free roam.
