Can I remove my armour visually?

I want to keep the armour stats but remove it visually.

I really don't see the point in dressing a character if I can only see the bottom half of the clothes lol

The armour seems to cover a lot and bugs me. I want people to see my crew emblem (I paid for)on my back but I have a massive back plate covering it.

 

Am I missing something ???? Can this be done

Go into the interaction menu (hold select) and go into the inventory. You'll see a setting for body armor there, change it to none. That gets rid of it visually, while keeping the stats.

Hold the back/select button and open up your inventory and roll on down to the body armor category.

Yeah, what he said. I'd wear no body armor otherwise lol. You can do that with your parachute too (pretty sure it's that way by default).

Everytime you buy armor though you are gonna have to remove it with the quick menu, gets pretty annoying.

It does get annoying. Why can't it just not show up once you select to have it not shown?
