Does anyone use a freakin mic anymore?

Same with Xbox. I dont use mine with random people unless i need to explain something to them.

I always have everyone muted in free roam anyways. More times than not, the session is filled with idiots yelling on the mic.

Have a mic, never use it. I have yet to come across a situation where what people were saying had any correlation with what we are actually doing. That and hearing 8 year olds playing GTA is akin to nails on a chalkboard to me.

A lot of people play with chat settings switched to crew + friends.

 

Thats what mine is on and the same goes for most I get online with. Sometimes I forget and would actually like the chat to be set on everyone but f*ck it.

Everyone I've heard that had a mic either

 

 

A. Much have had sh*tty mics because you can only every hear one word at a time.

B. Ghetto black dudes blasting sh*tty rap in their rooms and saying "Bugatti" in every sentence

C. Little kids who aren't even old enough to play the game.

 

 

 

I'd rather everyone stop using mics.

I feel like there are just less and less mics everyday on Xbox. idk...I just seem to remember back when Halo 3 was the biggest online game, 99% of all the players had mics and stuff.

because PS dose not support cross game chatting and having friends in the same game to talk to is almost non existent.

 

as for xbox everyone i play with uses a mic because we are in a party together 90% of the time no mater what game we are playing.

Funny when I play on xbox or ps3 seems about the same % of people use mics, I stick to ps3 now since PSN is free and xbox live is 50 or 60 bucks a year.

He has a point, everytime I leave party chat with my friends theres always at least 1 moron who has their mic deepthroated or some kid is yelling at everyone because he thinks if he cant hear himself others cant hear him either.

Because 99% of the people who play GTA are annoying is sh*t.

 

Either kids with squeaky voices screaming. People who won't stop spewing racial hate or gay comments. Players complaining or trying to boost. I mean shiiit, just look at this forums.

 

Id rather boot stomp the majority of players on GTA before talking to them...lol

 

 

But, I usually leave my mic on. If I hear someone talk and they sound cool il usually start talking.. If hear anyone annoying I usually just turn the chat volume to mute.

So that explains it. It's been 4 days and nobody else seems to have a mic or something. Hell… I even ask several times when I join if anybody's got a mic but nobody says anything so I just leave mine on and blab until somebody tells me to shut up.

Wish people would just use their mics cause you can sit in your apartment and watch a feed of what all the other players are doing and talk to them.

Myself and my mates use our mics for Skype as we play GTAO. Those that do have a mic on PSN are quickly muted due to either having a very annoying kid voice or having the worse mic ever. Constant crackling and game sounds = muted.

 

That or their foreign and i don't understand a word they are saying.
