OP and his supporters have no what an economy is.

GTA:O does not have an economy.

Take a business class at your local university/jr college, or read the definition of economy...

Well when and if the stock market ever opens it will have part of an economy. :3

Also in the long run it's just a game and people are getting mad because the cant get fake money fast anymore.

This doesn't work in real life. Don't do it in game.

You'll hurt all of the middle class Los Santians trying to get by on a day to day basis, and you'll basically be kicking in the teeth of the poor.

Lol true but I love how everyone is so concerned about the "economy" in GTAO if you would please to call it that, but dont even consider that our real life one needs a fixer uper.

Why does this keep making it's way to the top of the topic list? Hope it dies out soon.

If it involves money or car's it will get a lot of hit's.

No need to raise prices and screw over people who grinded legit. Simply put out an increasing percentage reduction on peoples bank accounts, call it a cypress style bailin where the country was failing and needed to rob peoples bank accounts, happens in real life, why not in game.

Anyone over 500k loses 25% over 1 mill 75% over 10 mill 95% over 100m 99.5%

The harder you glitched, the less you have :D

So many people became crazy rich from glitching.

But

Even without the cash from glitching

The payout from missions etc destroys any true reward system & healthy economy

EVERYTHING is too readily available, everything is too cheap.

Cash holds WAY too much buying power in this game.

We need to stabilize things by increasing the average price of goods.

Alternatively we could lower the pay out by missions & selling cars etc.

Either way, things are out of sync atm.

I purpose something in the region of:

Entity 3m

Assault Rife 120k

Sticky Bombs 3.5k

Average luxury apartment 10m

This will develop a healthy reward system whereby goods actually mean something.

Post below stating whether you agree or not.

COME ON ROCKSTAR MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

I feel a hate storm coming. Not sure I'm with you 100%. I'm okay with payout nerfs, but such a massive change in GTA$ value would just upset the economy which is just finally setting down and finding it's groove. I do have to say from the reported prices of what Cash Cards will cost, I don't see a balance in that. From what I've read, 5 bucks and you'd have the same cash from playing for 10 - 15 hours or so.

I'm broke as sh*t because I didn't glitch. Upping the prices would not help a player like me it would only piss me off, I say ban the cheaters if you do anything because I'm sick of games like this where a few people exploit something and all the people who play by the rules pay the price.

Fix the game first. Money, characters, cars, etc. keep getting deleted. sh*t isn't getting saved, bugs galore. Fix the game first, then figure out the economy (to include an aggressive and effective investigation and banning or reset of the worst exploiters). If you don't have a stable game any 'stability' of economy is pointless.

Unless you made 4.1 million legit, in which case you're going to get f*cked for no reason.

Inflating prices will only hurt people who didn't glitch or farm in earlier builds, further causing disparity between them and the honest saps toiling now to catch up with low payouts. The rich players already have everything and would still be able to afford it all now if they raised prices anyway whereas the struggling people will never get a leg up. Bad idea.

I gotta say that most of the stuff is obtainable fairly quickly through doing missions. I was up to 100k with only about 8 hrs of play. The problem is I get bored of doing missions and I like to go kill everyone in the server and cause mayhem which always leads to massive hospital bills and zero ammo. It comes and goes, but since the new patch its definately harder to get money because of the nerfd mission earnings

Fool, sh*ts already expensive as it is. Where the heck have you ever bought $25,000 horn, $50,000 turbo kit and $7,000 HID/ xenon lights?

Your theory is retarded. Especially when people get their jollies off killing people for nothing more than the knowledge that each hospital trip costs $2000 and the more they respawn, the more they die, wiping our their bank account quicker than a trip to strippers.

If you want the game to be more like reality... get the f*ck off the game and join reality and let the rest of us have some f*cking fun.

Imagine that, sometime in February, you get the game for the first time. Excited, you load up online, expecting to have fun, and find out that the cheapest car in the game is 100K and the cheapest gun is 50K. All the missions have been reduced to somewhere between 100 and 1000 dollars at most, and all missions take at least 10 minutes. That seems to be what you want in this thread.

OP, as far as i know, i think you made a thread about you glitching. (I might be wrong) But try playing legit, the prices will be insane in your eyes then. I have been playing legit since day 1, and i for once don't want a price incrase on anything, the prices are high enough, and getting money is even harder now. So no thx

Everyone who thinks there is an economy, go f*ck yourself. Go find another argument, something that is actually valid.
