Perhaps expand on what you want to discuss. If the deal wasn't ruined then Tommy wouldn't of needed to stay in Vice City and would of gone back to Liberty City with the money. Job done i guess. Sonny would have 20K of cocaine he didn't need ("it's all drugs Sonny, none of the families will touch that sh*t") and Tommy would make a good work, after which he would either be clipped by Sonny's people or back on the streets of LC causing all kind of troubles for Forellis ("people will remember soon enough and it will be bad for business.")
