Glitch or not I had no intent on buying cash cards at all. Its a shameless way to nickel and dime consumers esp seeing how fast the money goes in this game. Cash Cards are worse than if they made us pay for an online pass.

Agreed, games having patches and dlc have ruined gaming. I know a patch is a good thing but it also allows companies to ship games before they shouldve been shipped and theyll just "fix it later on", and DLC is the worst exploitation of gamers ever. There is alot of dlc out there and 98% of it is pure crap, a gun or a costume,extra cars or tracks. Stuff you could unlock in games just for finishing it is now an accessory to buy.

I'll be honest, I did think about buying some. The game is crazy fun. I kind of enjoy the slow progression. Maybe I'm just a different type of gamer though.

 

But with the whole glitch debacle I can't justify it anymore.

I don't plan to get cash cards. I have next to everything I want. My friend that I play with will be getting one as he works a lot and has a family.

 

I think it's fair that if you can't be on the game much and have the money, there's nothing wrong with getting a cash card. It's impossible to get anywhere in this game, especially with the payout nerfs if you're not on the game that much.

 

The 10 car garage makes life a little easier on the game.

Doubt it will be the case since I am making around 200,000$ every half to full hour by stringing together missions with friends but if something takes to much of a grind, I might just buy cash cards.

Mate I really doubt you'll be able to make a difference here. If you said this to the big boss at Rockstar, you know what he'd say. "Kay. Cya." Don't be fooled into thinking that your money matters to Rockstar. For every one person you get to join your cause, there are going to be thousands upon thousands of players dripping cash Rockstar's way for many many years to come. You can't stop the Micro Transaction movement. Its a business model, get used to it, XBO and PS4 will be riddled with them I guarantee.

I never planned on buying them. Now if they want to come out with really good DLC on the other hand.. other than that they already got my $60, and I've bought every GTA since GTA 3, so I'm loyal. I'm not going to "donate" to a company that made a billion dollars in three days, whether they got the whole billion or not. I've done my contribution, now they need to polish the online instead of breaking it and making guns cost $80k while you steal giant planes and make $5.

I for one didn't glitch and plan to boycott purchasing micro transactions for the simple fact that I should not have to purchase something that others obtained for free.
