Mmm. I imagine I'll add a rusty, bringing my total to 3 across 2 characters...but its possible Hemi admitted he might wind up with one garage full of them. I might see if I can find a Journey or Camper for the lulz. I know the Journey is for sale through Warstock - anyone know if it goes in the garage or on the pegasus list?

 

I'm really hoping we get some 10 car garages outside the city, otherwise one or both characters will have to settle for 16 cars...

Journey is a Pegasus delivery, yeah. It's massively OP though, it can go up hills and everything

 

A 10 car garage at the far-North airfield would be nice, drag the centre of gameplay out of the city a little bit.

It's a crew session so if you're in the crew you can join session off somebody's gamercard or an invite.

It's a crew session so if you're in the crew you can join session off somebody's gamercard or an invite.Yeah I use 'closed crew session' when hosting. Join crew members probably works but could have problems if people are still joining themselves. The best method would be to use my gamer card as blind says, or to view crew members from the online menu and join me from there - might have to select me, cancel and select again to get the option to show, cloud servers being what they are.

Life might start being less busy in a few weeks...

Well, we're a bit biased here....so yes. That said, its not quick, seats two and struggles on steep hills. Looks good, on the plus side, and is free. Best advice is probably to find one and try it out...

After seeing this thread I thought it was a good idea to go grab one of these beauties. I wanted to take a quick pic before I came off for the night... but surprise, suprise somebody came out into the desert to blow it up before I had chance.

Sounds like a plan. I'll head up that way when I get on and people can convoy up from the city if they like. It'll make a change from the usual hanging around LSC as people come online. Nothing against that but a change won't hurt.

Let's attempt the drive down Old Mans Crack. From the top of Mt Chiliad to the beach near Paleto Bay....carried up by cargobob, carried down by gravity. Having reluctantly agreed to spend Easter Sunday evening/Monday morning with some friends of the missus this will need to be on Sunday morning my time. I'll try and be on by 8am, that's Saturday 9pm UK 4pm New York, but it could be later. Experience shows that getting set up can take time, the more bobs ferrying the better so I'll be on as early as possible. It will almost certainly be at least an hour later before we go so Aussies don't have to be up at 6am to take part...afterwards, a but of standard cruising. Maybe some aerobatics or a capture?

cool. I think that's 1 PM Pacific time on Saturday. I'll be on a little early to fetch my cargobob. If I'm the first on I will start the lobby and get my bus to the top of the Throat of the World, I mean Mount Chiliad, and then start pickin other Surfers up. Lets all try to meet some place where there's room to land the Bob....Sandy Shores or P-Bay would work probs work best

Ok I've scouted for surfer drop zones at the top of the mountain, there's not as much open space as the bells end side but there's enough. Should be able to drop near the lookout platform on the cable car side or on the far side of the cable car from the launch ramp (near a parachute job). I took my surfer up as a test - pictures here http://gtaforums.com/topic/676605-going-down-old-mans-crack-snapmatic-challenge/?p=1065217065 and down again...

 

Here's what awaits us...

The view from the edge of the ramp. Target destination is the middle of the curved beach, more or less (roughly centre screen). The path is down the gully, not the ridge. Watch that first step, its a doozy.
